What happened Saturday March 22 at 12pm. I walked in trying to get my jewelry but someone behind the counter was having an episode. I waited 1 1/2 hours. Didn’t get my stuff. I hope he’s ok.

I bought my 2000k computer in to get a loan. Came back after corona virus and my computer was broke. The owner or whoever the white man is behind the glass told me it’s not his fault. And refuse to refund me for my internet fees. I filed a lawsuit yesterday because of the principle and made a claim with the BBB.

I understand how pawn works but you would think with COVID and all the craziness they would have given at least a courtesy call or an extra letter saying hey we are gonna sell your stuff. After beating covid and a 6 week hospital stay my daughter finds out all her jewelry was pawned. Wish they were run by better understanding people.. Live and learn.

SELLERS BEWARE!!! I Had Some Scrap Gold Damaged Cracked Gold Bands Broken Bracelets (Years of Collecting from Metal Detecting In On The beach) I tested and Measured everything Out not sure if Gold went up or Down at The Value it is Today BUT The AMT Was 36 GRAMs Mostly 14k some 3 or 4 10K peices ring Ankle Bracelets Etc The VALUE WAS AROUND $1100 ... PLAYING games!!! But I Needed some Money to pay for rent in my studio as of the job Cut Down.. I'm a Gutter Guy Power Washer Guy Who runs a small Business in Bayshore Who Dosent work on the books... I was at a job at the time so My Girl Sold off the jewelry I know the Guys.. lose about like $100 or somthing like that when they Go to sell it as gold Could Drop rapidly.... But She Got $350 For everything I told her it was Worth $1k But to take Anything decent we need to raise Money I'm 3 months behind.. She came home with My kids from soccer Practice and the $350 I was Furious .. The staff Has told Her How could I sell this jewelry if it's So damaged How would you feel Got this Excuses... Ur not reselling Broken jewelry or else u Wouldn't Buy it ur scraping a good $750 atleast of Profit I came Down To the shop Tommorow! !!!!! What the You Know What Guys It's valued at $1100 Scrap I'd understand $800 ! heck I'd take Take $600 as I'm in desperate need of cash! You need to make this right My man I was Meet with sorry Sir I can't help you want Done is done Have a nice Day And the J*** was Being a Dush U should have sold if your self basically Talking down On me. These guys Rent a tiny compact Property These you know what's act like they Own The whole Dang Shoping center There was Nothing I could do at this Point Very Untrustworthy And Honest Guys

Took a loan on my jewlery, i called 24 hrs in advance to redeem my items and the man i spoke to said no problem he would have it ready for next day, next day i leave work early to go to empire at 130, to find the place closed and fenced off. I called and machine says were currently closed...whats up with that, i lose half a days pay to get my things and they are closed, and door says open till 5pm... whats up with that??

I have used Empire several times to obtain small loans of a few $100 and then paid to get my jewelry back...no problem. They give me a realistic amount for what I bring to them and are always straightforward.

I have never been to this establishment BUT I heard they took over Premier Pawn of Central Islip and Brentwood and I couldn't be happier!!! The previous owner was a thief without honor. After counting over 200 DVDs at .25 cents a piece with an employee we agreed to a price over $46, the owner came up and said he'd give me $15 AFTER we'd already agreed on a price. GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
