“It was such an amazing experience. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Lisa and United Ways, thank you for making this weekend possible. It's something I will never forget. The horticulture class is relaxing and so hands-on. It was a perfect experience. Yoga and Reiki were my first time, and it was such a spiritual experience. Jenny's writing workshop was my first, and I loved it so much. I learned a lot. Thank you all for this perfect time with all of you. As a woman veteran, thank you for helping me find myself. There are so many workshops and things to do here that it was eye-opening.”

“great place to hold a party/event. You do have to be a member or I guess know someone who is but it's still very nice and big. The people are also very nice.”
“Lots of furniture and houseware stuff. It is a very big warehouse.no clothing. Lots of paintings, mirrors, lamps. I saw several armoire's. Lots of glasses, plates. Worth it to check out. Especially if you live in the area.”
“Through the pandemic that is pressing us at the moment a little critical for some families and community.I must thanks for meeting Mrs Peg. She has been a great counselor to me, always attentive to listen to me, polite and helpful. God continue to bless you for such wonderful work. I must say that Birthright of Islip has helped me and more than that, Mrs. Peggy has been a confidant when I have needed it. Thank Mrs. Peggy❤ for all your work and service to the women we are in the process of being Mothers.”

“Seatuck is a group of caring, knowledgeable people working to maintain Long Island's natural beauty and wildlife. What's not to love about that?! There is a thread of authenticity that runs through each member of this group that binds them together to create a formidable force. I'm impressed with their selflessness, competence and most importantly, results! Please help them save our amazing island and its inhabitants [wild or otherwise!!].”

181 Freeman Avenue, Islip“Just taking a minute to leave this review because I just hung up with customer service and they really were so pleasant to deal with. It was nothing major. I just needed help with a service. But I got the nicest woman on the phone and she explained some of the benefits to me. At first, I didn't want to get involved but I am so glad I did. The people that I've met make it well worth it. Thanks.”
“Our family raised 6 seeing eye dogs. It was such a rewarding experience for the whole family. To see the puppy you held in your arms "graduate" and go on to lead a blind person around the world from subway stations to airplanes. We always mentioned that the directors, Mrs and Mr Beagle were so helpful with our first retriever puppy.”
“I found the application process at Options for Community Living to be highly organized and professional. Potential candidates should find it worthwhile to give them a try, but also keep your options open.”
“I adopted Cerina on Thursday 22 of February. Our first night together was such a comfort for us both, as I had lost my last of 3 dogs I had adopted together several years ago and for Cerina who had been in Little Shelter and another one for almost 4 years. Cerina and I have benefited from the comfort and love we are providing to each other. Little Shelter and the staff have been so dedicated to providing amazing care, kindness, love and support for all the animals, but they have gone above and beyond their capacity to make sure all the animals are well taken care of. It was so apparent as a testimony to making sure all animals are treated with respect, care and dedication.”

1900 Jericho Turnpike, East Northport“The employees are beautiful, hard-working folks who know their customers well. The donations are only as good as the donations they receive, so why criticize the selections? Not once have I visited and found a messy or disorganized establishment. These reviews shock me.”
“We made a great sofa purchase, along with home accessories, recently at Society of St. Vincent de Paul Long Island's thrift store in Huntington. We fell in love with the sofa's look and comfort -- and the great price. We were so pleased that we've returned again today for an additional sofa purchase. Our sales rep, Michelle, was fantastic.”
“I just gotta share how awesome our experience was working with the Great South Bay YMCA! Magical Memories Entertainment recently brought our Bubbletastic bubble show to their camp, and let me tell ya, it was a blast!
Staff were super friendly, and you could tell they were all about making sure the kids had fun. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly, which made our job a whole lot easier.
So, big shoutout to Great South Bay YMCA and a huge thanks from Magical Memories Entertainment!”
