They called me from the clinic because they saw my review of what you wrote about my visit and they told me that I had not understood the communication because I did not speak English. When there was a person translating what the doctor was saying the problem was that the doctor did not even examine my cat Zoila the person I spoke to assumed that she wanted to and did not even say sorry for the inconvenience. On the other hand, the communication was cut off because I was driving to work and he called me yelling at me telling me that it was disrespectful that I did not respect when she did not even bother to ask me if the communication had been cut off. I think it is disrespectful for a hospital to call because they did not like a review, for someone to write about the visit when they could do better and apologize for the inconvenience not assume what they think

Best animal hospital I ever brought my dogs too, very friendly staff, they really get concern about the dogs health and not about the money, ill recommend it to anybody who needs any help with their pets Shout out to Dr. J his the best really cares about the pets.

loved my experience here! took care of my frenchie and new borns, Dr.J was super helpful with all my questions and concerns, gave me peace of mind knowing i was leaving my fur baby in their hands, thank you Dr J and the bay shore animal hospital staff for being so kind.

This is a really great vet. You call for an appointment and they get you in right away. My frenchie even loved this place. They are great with pets.

Bay Shore Animal Hospital is hands down the best Vet I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Everyone on the staff is incredibly caring. And the Veterinarian's take the time to explain things in a way you can understand. They cared for my cat for several years while she was battling kidney disease. And when it was time for us to say goodbye once again the staff showed the same care and compassion that I came to expect and then some.
If you in need of a Vet do not hesitate to use Bay Shore Animal hospital both you and you pet will be well cared for.

Can’t express my gratitude enough for the entire staff here. They kept my pup overnight, gave her fluids, meds and the attention she needed. She’s doing so great now and is so much more herself. Will be making Bayshore Animal Hospital our new vet home. Dr. Dratch was thorough and I could tell how genuine he was while also taking time to create a plan of care for my Denise. Thank you all!!!

Fantastic Vets took care of our Cavashon pups, neutered and spayed with a one night stay. Came home happy and smelled fantastic after they were washed as well!

First time coming here, all the way from Westchester on a recommendation and I'm happy with the services my Frenchie got here.
A relative insists I check his vet which is more local to me, but to be honest I'm just really pleased with the service I got here and will continue to choose them as my dogs vet.

I would like to start off by giving Doctor J. a very special thanks along with his team who came along to help. This was my first time having a pregnant pup and breeding- on 3/28 Thursday I had the most nerve wrecking day of my life! I was 70% sure my female was ready to go but to be safe I had to make a visit close to home (RHODE ISLAND) to do a reverse PG test to get my answer. Before you know it results came back she’s under a 2.0%. I am calling bully zone as they were closest to me to see if they had any availability for me to bring my girl in ( they were three hours from me) I explained she is ready she needs to give birth today! they tell me they are first come first serve and the doctor leaves at 2 PM and wouldn’t stay longer to wait for me. At this point this is considered an emergency C SECTION. I was disappointed as a first timer you can understand how frustrating this was. Luckily I gave the right person a call and asked where can I bring my baby to delivery her puppies safely lost importantly. The first place they send me is Bay Shore Animal Hospital so I immediately see they close at 8 pm and It is already close to 5PM. I rushed and called then spoke with the receptionist and told them I have my dog whos ready to give birth and water just started breaking and I wanted to know if they could take me for a c section ( would be after hours) they were 4 hours away. Doctor J gets on the phone I explain EVERYTHING TO HIM. He comforts me and tells me everything I did need to hear but assures me if I go to him this would get done and properly he said he would even stay after hours for me! The amount of stress that was relived and lifted up off my shoulders you wouldn’t imagine. He was sure to give me his personal cell and keep checking in with me along the ride. He was.4 hours away i arrived at 9/9:30PM and Even though this was late he still did the procedure for my baby (pup). We got there and immediately he spoke to us let us know what would be happening and this couldn’t have been any more quicker. We got the car ready and set up for the puppies and go back inside we were told our mom was doing great! And we received a safe healthy litter of 8! It’s needless to say our experience was great. Doctor J really helped us big time here. He even took time to ask us if we had any questions and gave us as much information as possible as to how to move forward ( AGAIN THIS IS MY FIRST TIME) . After all on the drive back I get a text from him checking up on how we are and how puppies are doing. This was heart warming because it is so hard to find a doctor / vet who genuinely cares. I still have to text him every now and then with some questions but he is always there. Thank you again Doctor J and your wonderful team. The two ladies were great as well! If I had to recommend anyone I would tell you go with Bay shore. I will be a returning customer going on forward.
