First off, I love "off the beaten path" places that are on the far-opposite side of the pretentious spectrum. This place is affectionately known by locals as "The Mogadore", which is synonymous with the North Pembroke hamlet where its located. Since I gravitate to dive bar type places, this would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for their very limited menu and cash-only policy. Still, they're a solid 4 starts based on: Cozy atmosphere, friendly-as-can-be service, and their wings are nothing short of awesome (2nd best in county, I'm told!). French fries were darn good, and I also hear their Friday fish-fry is excellent as well. In summary, The Mogadore / North Pembroke Hotel is a local gem that has been around for 50 years or more, and that's because it keeps it simple and focuses on their strengths.

Awesome place to eat. Great friendly service. Came here on our snowmobiles last week and had to come back. Fantastic burgers. Two thumbs up. Worth the long snowmobile trip to get here. We will be customers for years to come

Home style cooking. From Fish fries, pasta , Turkey dinners, chicken and biscuits all of their food is delicious. The staff is very friendly & accommodating.
