They will forget to put things back on the car, charge you for things that don’t get done and when you call to ask them about it they give you a hard time about it and have the WORST customer service.

I had an appointment on Sunday for an oil change. I was there At 10:20 for a 10:30 appointment, parked and walked in to a sign on the door, ‘Sorry, no techs today, sorry for the inconvenience’. Nobody called, to let me know this…as they have my phone number and email address on file…from my online appointment booking.
I patiently waited with the girl behind the counter to finish with a customer. I simply wanted to reschedule my oil change appointment. She was apologetic, and rescheduled me for the following day, Monday, at 2:30 pm. I was ok with it all, as I understand all the hired help restrictions, since 2020.
I arrived Monday at 2:15 for the appointment, for which I was told that it would be a few HOURS before they were able to get my car in. I stated that I didn’t have a few hours to wait, asked if I should again, reschedule. I was told, ‘let me see what I can do’…can you wait an hour? I said yes. I walked to price chopper across the street, did my grocery shopping, walked back…my car hadn’t moved. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes, my car stilll hadn’t moved. I finally asked for my keys back, I just couldn’t wait any longer. Appointments are made for reason! I’m not sure that I would ever return to such a chaotic branch, again! I’m sure that they TRY to make customers happy…but it simply DID NOT WORK, with me, TWO days in a row! I ended up going to Take 5 in Amsterdam and was in and out in out in 15 minutes. Hoping others will take my advice!

Brett and Brandon are top notch. After getting the run around from another shop in the past few months; the communication, honesty and timeliness of service from these two was a relief.

JULY 2024 DO NOT USE THIS MONRO! Staff doesn't show up or on time! My husband had an appointment Friday, he showed up and was told the tech had to leave. Rescheduled his appointment for Sunday shows up and again no tech. According to other reviews and my husbands experience… DONT SCHEDULE AN EARLY APPOINTMENT! Today (Sunday) she was 30 min late. No apologies and was rude to customers. My husband asked for her name and she refused to give it. We have a vacation tmrw and had to take our business elsewhere. VERY STRESSFUL!

I was on vacation in Saratoga Springs NY and ran over a screw and well my tire was flat. I wanted it towed to the nearest Ford dealership but they were closed so I had my car towed to Monro. What a great place. Brett took the car and checked it and they were going to fix it or replace it. Unfortunately the lug nuts have a lock and my dearlership in NJ forgot to put the key back. Without the key, the tire can’t come off. Well that’s when Eric stepped in and put in a plug. All fixed. Thank goodness for them and Trish for being the calm in my storm. Made it home safely. I highly recommend them.

I made an appointment last week for this morning for an inspection. Upon arrival, I was told the inspection machine broke yesterday and they couldn’t complete the service. Since I was on the schedule and they had access to my contact information, someone could have easily called to let me know, but I guess they couldn’t be bothered. I took time off of work for the appointment, now I have to take more time off. Their customer service stinks.

On Sunday I called for an appointment for my F150. They told me Wednesday was open and scheduled me. Dropped truck off on Tuesday night. Called them Wed night to check on status and was told a tech didn't show up so they couldn't get to it. Called Thursday at about 3:00 and they said they couldn't get it in because the "Truck Bay was locked", whatever that means. Told them to forget it and picked up my truck to bring it elsewhere. Unfortunate, because I have had good experiences with this vendor in the past and have spent several thousand dollars in repairs here without any complant. Not going there again. Can't leave my vehicle sitting for 2 days with no activity when I have a scheduled appointment. Would give 0 stars but had to give at least one.

This is the 2nd time we have gotten an oil change at this place and both times I called the day before to make an appointment at a scheduled time and both times they say I didn't make an appointment and we sit there for an hour or two. Not to mention they are not overly friendly.

I wish I could give a half of a star. I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change at 1030. Called the shop at 215 to check on the status of my vehicle where I was told it would be another 20 minutes and I’d be all set. When I arrived 20 minutes later I found that my car hadn’t even been brought into the shop yet. I also arrived 10 minutes before the shop opened on Saturday (original plan was a walk in) and the manager arrived 45 minutes late to open. There were multiple cars that had been waiting alone with me that waited and left. The mechanic arrived on time but informed us that he does not have a key to the shop, only the manager does.
