The worst pharmacy. Never a pharmacist on duty, can’t get prescriptions. Not just since Covid, it’s been like this for years. They get one star for tobacco, alcohol and candy, you can always get those… which helps calm the nerves while you look for a new pharmacy.

I can not begin to express my disappointment in the pharmacy and at least one staff member who works at the Ballston Lake store. A prescription was called in by my daughter's Dr when we picked it up they said they only had a month supply and would order the remaining supply and it should be there in a couple days. Fine.A week later I had heard nothing and had to pick up my own script, so I inquired about my daughter's prescription. Apparently, it had not arrived and they stated they would reorder and it should be in the next day. I told the assistant that my daughter needed the items in the next few days since she was going away to college. The next day I get a call from the automatic system saying the prescription is delayed since it was not covered by Insurance. What!?! It was covered now it's notI call the pharmacy today Aug 29 and the girl tells me the order had to be changed to a different brand same drug and now we had to wait for a certain amount of time before the refill could be filled. I explained my daughter needed it before leaving in a few days. The girl did give me options about mailing it or her picking it up out by school. The girl was somewhat condescending like I was just a bother and she spoke with a lot of attitude. I tried to say that those options didn't work but she basically said I gave you three options that's it. She also told me I would need to call the insurance company to get them to waive it or we would need to pay out of pocket. The insurance company was great had no problem with waiving the wait period but state that we need to verify that the Dr was ok with the change. My daughter called the pharmacy and got the same girl. When my daughter asked if the Dr had authorized the change the girl stated the pharmacist changed it and that's that. This girl complete does not understand customer service and has a really attitude problem.Ultimately we fought that the Dr was ok with the change but the problem was that the new order was for a three month supply and not the two months that was needed for the original script. We would not have known about the problem if I hadn't asked when picking up my script, noone notified us of the change in drug and then they expect us to accommodate them for their lack of service.

This pharmacy is terrible! Dont count on them if you need prescriptions filled, because they randomly close due to " staff shortages". I have never heard of such a thing, no other pharmacy I have ever used has this issue, and make customers that need their medications wait until they have enough people to come in and work? What a joke, clearly whoever is in charge needs to rethink how to keep a much needed business operating during normal business hours. The rest of the store stays open, why can't the pharmacy keep reliable staff?

After going through a horrific experience at CVS trying to receive a Covid PCR test and being told that I needed a "code" that I never received, I received one at Walgreens with just an appointment and my name. The technician was pleasant and it was an easy process.

After reading the garbage reviews, I strongly suggest it would be best for people to ignore the nonsense written by the “entitled” folks. Great pharmacy and efficient people work here

It gets one star because the pharmacy staff were trying their best. Disorganized chaos. I have never seen so many angry customers openly venting to each other about how long they had been waiting. Look elsewhere.

Had an appointment today at 12:30 for a flu shot. 30 min later still waiting with two people in front of me. Would have been nice when I checked in if they told me about the delay instead of chatting and laughing with each other. Horrible place!

The staff are nice but not good employees. I arrived almost two hours after my photos were supposed to be ready and no one had checked the photo orders that had come through that shift. It was not a problem that they printed them while I waited, since there weren’t many but I had a second part to my order that wouldn’t be ready that day. They told me I could come back the following day. Shortly after I left the store the Picta app, that Walgreens uses for its photo printing, notified me that they were ready. I returned to the store two days later and no one could find my order. Because it was never printed. Because they didn’t have the supplies. When I asked how I would know when my order is ready, since they’ve already told Picta they’ve completed my order, they told me they would call me, but they weren’t even aware that the job was incomplete, so who knows. I will try the Saratoga Springs Walgreens next time.

Pharmacy closes on weekends. What a joke. I'm not taking time off work to get prescriptions that I need.

I’m very tired of this pharmacy not being open for its customers! The pharmacy is closed. I get that there are life events that happen, there should be someone else to be able to be there for the customers. When the pharmacy is closed (today a Tuesday!!!!) you can’t even request a refill from the pharmacy. The phone tree won’t even let you put in the med # to have it filled later. It tells you to call another local Walgreens store. So tired of the pharmacy not being there for the patrons!!!

This pharmacy was very good when it was a Rite Aid. After becoming Walgreens is just terrible. Empty shelves, pharmacy closes early, it’s closed on the weekends, and last time I was there they told me they only have one pharmacist working, I guess the person is part time cause there wasn’t anyone there Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I never write reviews on places but this is genuinely the worst pharmacy i’ve ever had to go to. It’s closed on weekends and closes during the week without warning. I understand staffing is an issue but we are dealing with people medicines they need to live and function. I have had many times where i had gone through withdrawal from my meds taking me out of work and hindering my abilities in my everyday life. The staff is rude and unaccommodating in a field where sympathy goes a long way. I am disappointed with the turn this place has taken when the new pharmacist has came in. Go to Ballston Spa or Clifton park for pharmacies, it can save your life.

Pharmacy is completely closed on the weekends. This is unacceptable, people have life saving medicine they need. Besides the fact that I was never notified of the change and it still says open till 5 on Google. Called twice to find out the status of my child's prescription and couldn't get anyone on the phone. Prescription was sent in on Friday, didn't have any over the weekend for him. No idea that they were closed for the entire weekend. Will be switching to a different place. Not a reliable pharmacy, go somewhere else.
