I have been trying to cancel a recurring payment from Trustco thru Zelle and it has been two months. I was getting the run a round from different people at TrustCo. Today I went to the branch and they insisted that I needed to cancel my checking account to stop payment. I got a call from Anna? about a maturing CD and I said that I was not happy with TrustCo. because of my problem. She blamed me, Zelle, Trustco's customer service and said we were wrong. She kept over talking to me and would not listen. Later in the day, the customer service rep and myself figured out how to cancel the payment. This Anna was very rude and demeaning. I have been a Trustco customer for over 40 years and don't deserve to be treated this way.

I have had nothing but great service here. Tellers are friendly and helpful. Lines are never long. Great place to have your child's savings account too!

My wife and my ATM cards were not working so we went to the branch to rectify. They claimed to order us new cards, but they never arrived. I called the branch manager three times (over 2 months) and she has not returned my calls. I even said that I wanted information on refinancing in my last message - still no call. I eventually called the 800 number for customer service and they said I would have to go to another local branch to file a complaint.

a good branch but do always check your systement because they do not train good tellers. they seem to make mistakes often especially if there are many people with similar names.
