I must say that the professionalism superceded my expectations. I took my 4 year old daughter here for the 1st time. She has thick long curly hair and I wanted a wash blow and braid. She cried the entire time yet not 1 person in the studio made us feel uncomfortable. They took their time with her showed zero signs of frustration and talked her through the process. I apologized at least 10x and they reassured me that it's OK and kept on. They offered suggestions on how make our next appointment easier and still made this difficult event better. Thank you ladies for your grace and overall understanding. Jordyn said you were nice when we walked out. (Smile).

My son loves his hair style!! He needed his hair braided last minute. I reached out to Studio 91 today and they were able to fit him in immediately. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this place!

SO MANY RED FLAGS!!! -Stylist kept saying I have heat damage when in reality I don't -Overcharged for a wash, deep condition and haircut -Talked to me as if I didn't understand her -Very informal and rude on over the phone -Employess vape freely in the shop -ATM was broken -DO NOT COME HERE -Wash, deep condition and cut = $120 SCAM!!!!!!!!! -I even asked her a refund of at least half the money over the phone and she said no. She tried cutting the conversation short over th phone claiming she was "busy working at the salon" I came here last week on Friday to do a consultation and get rid of my layers. She said she didn't want me to wash it and she'll do it in the appointment. When I came in the stylist was super confused on why I was there as if I didn't make the appointment and mixing me up with a different client. She had me sit down and went ahead with the consultation, she told me how my hair has different textures in different parts of my hair, that it was heat damaged and thin. I told her how I wouldn't usually go to the salon to do my hair and that it's been close to 2 years since I've gotten it straigthened. But she didn't believe it. I also told her how I thought about coloring my hair, but she said how my hair is already heat damaged that it was gonna ruin it even more because it needs to be bleached, okay fine. Not even 10 mins into the consultation a different customer comes in and she pauses the appointment. The customer even saw that she was interrupting our conversation, but the stylist didn't care and sat the other customer down, paused my appointment and started talking with her... VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AFTER WAITING ABOUT 10 MINS, the customer apologizes to me and leaves. The sylist kept using the term HEAT DAMAGE very freely. I told her I wanted to get rid of the layers I had and even everything out, so she showed me how much hair would be cut. I was terrified because it took me about 5 years to grow the length I had. She literally gave me this ultimatum if I cared more for healthy hair or longevity. Since I was so gullible with this lady GIVING MISINFORMATION I told her to cut it off. I even tried asking her what brands she reccommends for my hair because I feel like shea moisture isn't really working for me anymore. AGAIN WITH THE HEAT DAMAGE TERM, she said how I needed to get products that are for transitioners. I even asked her if she could test my porosity and she said HEAT DAMAGE, CAN'T DO IT. The whole time I was in the salon the other eomployee was vaping right next to me. The whole time I was there the other woman has ZERO customers. She had complained about other customers she either canceled on or passed over because of them either going to their appointments late or that had an afternoon appointment. AGAIN UNPROFESSIONAL!!! LOSING MONEY!!! She finally sat me at the sink, put some minty smelling liquid in my hair, didn't even scrub it in or anything and let it sit for idek how long. Another customer came in, she worked on her. Fast forward to the end, I wasn't happy at all with how the haircut came out. I then asked her how much was it, she said $120. HOW DOES A WASH, DEEP CONDITION AND CUT COME OUT TO THAT PRICE!?!?!?! I asked her if she took card, she said how they only take cash or apple pay. I asked where the closest atm was to them... They had one in the shop that wasn't even working!! I didn't carry cash, I asked her if I could pay with my phone by tapping it since it had my cards on it. She asked if I had an iphone and I said no. So then I asked if I can zelle her. So then she starts repeating the same phrase to me how she only takes cash or apple pay. So then the other "working lady" says how I could zelle her and then she'll zelle it to the stylist that did my hair. WTF? So then I did that and left and now I'm left with this BOTCHED "designer cut." Go to google reviews to see I attached the after cut and before the haircut MY HAIR IS NOT HAIR DAMAGED THIS STY

Terrible place I went there one time for box braids and the lady did then good I went again for some box braids and they lady who did then did terrible I came out looking like I had them box braids in for months . Also it’s not very welcoming in there the lady was judging tf outta my hair instead of nicely suggesting things . Never again !!

Love love love my hair Anoda is the best!!! I was look for a place closer to my house cause I can’t always go to Brooklyn and that’s where I found this salon so happy I did !!! And she’s quick too I expected to be in that chair for hrs she was done in 1hr I’m still shocked lol will definitely be going back happy I found this place !!!!Anoda is such a nice lady too !!!

Had an appointment booked for a week and a half for this afternoon. Called, left a voicemail, even showed up. The shop is closed. Don't waste your time showing up, making an appointment, trying to support as they don't respect yours enough to call and cancel. Extremely disappointing.

My son and I needed our hair done for a wedding and I was so happy Anonda was able to see us. Her salon has a pleasant, warm, home-like feel to it. Although she was busy, she was still able to satisfy every customer and connect with them individually. Pricing was reasonable as well. I was referred by a friend and now we will be loyal customers. Anonda was a beautiful person….and her spirit is wonderful but I’m not please with my hair. I went in feeling unsure because I do have a lot of damage to my hair so I decided just to lock it up. The service I got for $100 plus a $10 tip is crazy. My hair don’t even look like it’s been done. She only use setting lotion which I thought was a little weird but I thinking she knows better than me. My edges was not included. It’s just a messed. And I’m sorry I had to do this. I’m hurt. I work hard for my money and could has done this myself. I did everything she to do which was a bottle of water with my favorite oil spray once a day and nothing else
