I have shopped here many many times... But most recently over the last few times they have such poor produce!! So much so, that I would have to go back with my receipt and return it... And then they tried to give me back what I paid instead of giving me back double. I guess they don't realize the commercials that run constantly about being unsatisfied with your produce and receiving double the money back, or the signs that are sitting on top of their produce in the store stating that if you're unhappy you get double the money back. I'm so hesitant to continue to buy my produce here. It is so hit or miss... Mostly miss! I actually went food shopping today and there was barely any produce to choose from. I prefer to eat organic... And the selection was practically non-existent. Food is so expensive these days! They act like they don't care anymore. I used to love going food shopping there and now I don't.

Only go here as it's a convenient location at times. I have driven out of my way to go to other locations. The store was filthy the staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. The staff will stand around seeing a crowd and long lines and won't assist customers or their colleagues. One heavy set young man with black hair and eyeglasses who is normally on self checkout area always treats me and others as if we're stealing and once he allowed customers to go out the entrance near self checkout and I was 1-2 minutes right behind them as I allowed him to do this and then he made me walk out front entrance it was 2 minutes before the time of door supposed to be locked. Management is never visible or around. One time my cashier needed assistance the manager finally came and vented about the job was loud rude and obnoxious. I called her out on her not be professional she argued with me until I left the store. They need to revamp the entire staff or close this location. Let Lidl or Aldi come there

Their product section is very limited. I feel like they have the same size section as a significantly smaller store such as trader Joe's. It's also hit or miss if the produce will look or be fresh. The deli is amazing and their redeeming factor

I've always liked this Stop n Shop. It's big, clean and convenient. I loooooove the fried chicken they make and the bakery is awesome. I live in Valley Stream and i still pop in for the chicken on my way home from work ?. Worth the trip!

I stopped by on 4/2 to pick up a cake for my coworkers. Gabby from the bakery department helped me. She was very nice and she delivered exceptional service. She went above and beyond by redoing my cake after it was already personalized because I mentioned that I was going to travel long distance with the cake. I hope that you recognize Gabby for delivering great customer service and I’m sure that she a great team player.

There is everything you could possibly want. Rain checks never expire. Fresh produce. The deli section is well stocked with pre-sliced meat and cheese. We love the addition of Asian noodle dishes and sushi. The star of the store IMO is the seafood section. The manager is knowledgeable and pleasantly helpful. The meat section has plenty to choose from and there are often bargains to be had. Not wild about the Bakery area which leaves a bit to be desired in terms of freshness and pricing. Overall a terrific grocery. But please get rid of the creepy robot.

All the produce is rotten or rots the next day, deli counter still ignores you and you wait forever. Self check out is so cramed you cant get your wagon out of area to get out of store. They never have full size checkout open. This store should go to the Woodbury store and see a real Stop and Shop

The store needs an update. Many times, the shelves are near empty. The deli department should have pre-sliced cold cuts in the 1/2 lbs. range for those who don't need a full pound.

All time worse grocery store. Never have anything in stock and their bananas are always green. Can never find any yellow ones.

Why is this store even open? The shelves are ALWAYS bare, their produce is even more bare and gross. It's dirty and sad looking. Always feel ashamed that this store is in my neighborhood. They have no bags, no bags? No paper bags ok... but also no bags to buy? Literally, just no bags at all lol. I have to tell myself they're maybe closing soon, because I refuse to believe that anyone is actually trying to manage this store. Stop taking up space and sell to someone who will give us an actual respectable grocery store!
