“Post offices generally give me anxiety and I try my best to steer clear of them due to awful past experiences. This time I had no choice as I needed to get my passport renewed and I had to ship out a return. Fortunately for me the staff here (Darvin clerk #38, and Yinney (pronounced Jenny) were actually the friendliest and most helpful post office clerks I have ever met in my life. Darvin even made some jokes that made me laugh and eased my anxiety. What’s more impressive about their amazing customer service is that there were only 2 people doing everything. It was obvious they were understaffed but that didn’t stop them from being nice to literally everyone. I see the post office has improved and I’m glad they hired these two really great people!”

“I am actually amazed at how consistently excellent my experience at this post office is. The people working here are nice and friendly, they handle things efficiently as possible, they’ve always been helpful at explaining different options to me, they made my passport application go as smoothly as possible, it’s just a great location. Sometimes there’s a line but they handle it as efficiently as can be. Just really great experience here all around.”

“Went there to submit a passport application. I drove all the way from Brooklyn because the reviews said this was the best post office to go to for passports. And they were right. The ladies were quick and helpful. They took my passport photo and had me out of there in less than 30 minutes. Basically the opposite of every Post Office experience I've ever had before.”

“Came here on a wing and a prayer to get passports for my children. I noticed a sign stating they were short staffed and were not processing any passports today. I decided to take a chance and ask. I was in luck. Marion told me he could help but he has to take care of the packages and mail first. And if I didn't mind waiting a bit he could help me. I was so appreciative. He was patient and kind. I'm so happy he was able to help us. Great customer service!”
“Always efficient service. Some people that work here are very sweet, others are less engaging. Sometimes there's only 1 person checking packages in. Hopefully they give their employees hours.”

“I want to express my great gratitude to the lady clerk who helped us prepare passport documents yesterday! Thank you very much for your patience and cooperation. She took some extra time to explain us the steps, we went through third party “rush passport”. Clerk explained us step by step what we should do and how to do it. We wouldn’t be able to complete it without her ! She deserves a raise for sure , people like her is a very rare thing nowadays, that makes you still believe in humanity !!!! “I honestly don't understand why the reviews are so negative from other people. Coming from Brooklyn, this post office is a blessing in comparison to what I've dealt with in the past. There is usually never any rush so I'm in and out and there is also a parking lot as well. I've only dealt with two staff members who seem to be there regularly and they are both extremely helpful and kind. I've been mailing out everything from here the past few months and don't plan to stop in the foreseeable future. Keep up the great work!”

“It's really sad when you see the USPS places get such low ratings. I get both sides of the coin. There are some folks working in other postal offices who are not cut out for customer service jobs.At the Glen Oaks postal office, they have the highest rating I would gather anywhere in Queens. The employees here are amazing. They work so hard and are polite.Just make sure you do your part as a customer following the rules and the transaction should go through easy.Keep up the fantastic work, Glen Oaks postal service!”
