This is a big problem with Capital One Bank now. They closed the Oceanside and Long Beach branch. So we don't have a choice but to do our personal banking in this branch. Most employees are not that accommodating. We do window or drive through, but the lady doesn't even show concern. She stands there doing her things,we wait for a few minutes thinking she's just finishing whatever her doing but she dont. So we wave she just points for the ATM machine. We wanted to do other than that. So we went inside. And it's a long line. This is the third time we went here. So upsetting. We love this bank policies and online ways. But whenever we do personal banking, it's a terrible experience all the time now. We missed their other branch that they closed. We are now gonna switch bank because of this experience.

Extremely disappointed with my recent interaction with the market manager, Gonzalo Piche, who consistently displayed rudeness and lack of attentiveness towards my family's concerns. Despite our genuine need for clarification on a bank policy change, the manager REFUSED to provide clarification on a service discrepancy and also REFUSED to call, contact, or refer us to any higher administration personnel that may be able to assist. His dismissive language, unprofessional behavior, and racist treatment made it clear that our business was unwelcome at this branch, therefore has led me to report this matter through appropriate channels from Capital One customer service as well as the OCR (Office of Civil Rights) to ensure a thorough investigation of this branch and appropriate action in accordance with legal and professional standards.

I called to see if they could accommodate a notary for a non-bank customer. I was told yes, by the notary herself. Nice enough. But when I get to the bank, the notary isn't very friendly. Then she notices my driver's license is expired she gets mildly insulting. I comment that I need to catch up on things now that COVID is over, to which she gets very rude, saying "oh it's way too late to use the COVID excuse" but rudely, not in a light or funny way. As it happens, the US government just shut down COVID benefits a few weeks ago, people are still dying from it, and this woman has zero knowledge of what effects it may have had on me, a man in his 60s. Then I offer her other forms of GOVERNMENT ID that she won't take. I ask if there is someone that might be able to ok it, and she says she will contact an associate and ask. Two minutes later, without saying a word, she gets up and walks away from her desk and goes through a door to the back. Since she had said she reached out to an associate, I assumed she was coming back. But no. She just let me sit there not having said anything. Now I see why this bank gets such lousy ratings!

Tellers are very rude and manager doesn't even have the courtesy of answering the phone even though I have called many times. This is not the first time. I'm done with this bank.

Absolutely the SLOWEST tellers. What a mess. Two tellers available. One teller is doing notary work, the other teller is doing a money order. Capital One Bank just doesn't care about its customers. If you want personal assistance from a banker, forget it. The bank manager is doing nothing. Just walking up and down to the offices upstairs and saying hello to the security guard. One person working at a desk with people waiting longer than 30 minutes. What a mess.
