Everyone I've interacted with is wonderful. From the ladies at the front desk to the vet techs and doctors. I've been there for end of life care and for routine care. I can highly recommend Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital.

Bear was seen on time and was cared for gently and compassionately. She is a difficult cat and was handled so very well by Dr. McGowan and Theresa. Both vets have been so good with both of my cats - they are so knowledgeable and caring. I have been using Baldwin Harbor for all of my cats for over 20 years and have been completely satisfied with the care they have all received. Highly recommend Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital.

Everyone here at Baldwin Harbor is great from the receptionists to the vet techs. Dr. McGowan is wonderful and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust my pets to go to anyone else.

I brought our Maltipoo here as an emergency. He had several spiky seed pods attached to his fur (which we initially thought were sea urchins). Marie immediately took him in, shaved those areas, inspected it and cut it in half to confirm these were seed pods. Marie was extremely professional and so kind and loving to our puppy. I would love to come here again if it was close to home!

Dr McGowan & staff are the best! Everyone shows alot of care for my pets at every visit. My concerns are always addressed by phone & email as well. They have all been very sympathetic during the extremely difficult decision to send our beloved pets over the rainbow bridge the past few years.

Dr. Mc Gowan is the best. My dog is terrified of the vet but loved seeing her. The staff here is very friendly and super helpful. All exams are very thorough and the doc answers all questions regarding your visit.

I had a very pleasant experience coming here to this animal hospital. I don't even know where to begin to explain how grateful I am of Dr.McGowen and her excellent staff. My cat Bumble has been having teeth and mouth issues that needed medical attention immediately, and my family and I were very scared and skeptical as to what needed to be done to help her. With Dr.McGowen, those worries went away quickly. She took the time to explain what was going on and to assure us what needed to be done. She and her staff are true heros! Thank you so much for helping Bumble... it means a lot to us. We would definitely highly recommend this place.

I have been using Baldwin Animal Hospital ever since they hung out their shingle. My parents and I brought our family cats there when I was a child. When I grew up and had pets of my own I brought them to Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital. The staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. My wife and I had to say goodbye to a loved pet and the doctor's and staff were very sympathetic to all of our needs and emotions. Dr McGowan and her team are excellent when it comes to diagnostics and analysis. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian. I've trusted them with all my pets in the past, and I will trust them with all my pets in the future. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I just moved to Freeport. My dog was in pain I went to the office to see if they would take my dog Lea without an appointment and they said okay. I must say the staff and doctor were very polite and caring to my needs . The facility was amazing. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family

Will never go back didn't want to listen to theDog owner charges us over 600 for a IV that my dog didn't need and they were only supposed to cut his nails and give him shots they didn't do and then forced me to bring my dog to hospital and luckily they actually listened and talk to the owners and they realize and found out that that's how the dog normally is would not recommend this place

Called them Wednesday morning (1/4/23). I'm told they don't take appointments and that I can bring my cats in between 10-12pm. Walk in Thursday morning (1/5/23) at 10:15am, nobody else in the waiting area. Person behind desks asks if I have an appointment and I tell her what I was told on the phone. Person sitting next to her starts nodding her head at me but not saying anything. I ask what the issue is, I clearly spoke to one of you yesterday and you told me to come in between 10-12pm.All in all, this place doesn't have their sh!t together and I'm super disappointed in how I was treated. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.I'll be taking my business to All Creatures.
