I am a supporter of local businesses. I recently moved to the south shore and had 2 prescriptions filled. First time one was filled and 2nd was on back order. Both times I whitnessed other customers having similar problems. When I went back to refill my prescriptions it took 2 weeks for them to get the prescriptions in. When I went in to pick up the prescriptions I was told one was still on back order due to "nationwide shortage", when I complained the pharmacist said he released my prescription and I could have it filled elsewhere. This phrmacy has no stock, shelves are bare of even essentials such as aspirin, toothpaste, tampons. The staff (except for female pharmacist) is rude and dismissive. By the way, when my prescription was transfered I was told there was no nationwide shortage. AVOID THIS PHARMACY.

Wonderful owner and staff to deal with. Very helpful with any questions about medications and pricing. Recently stopped delivering orders due to employee shortage.

Never go to this pharmacy!.. I am a cancer patient and need certain prescriptions when ordered.. this has been the worst experience yet (and not the first!) bc I had my doctors put in prescriptions 2 days ago! And i was lied to about “we ordered it but it hasn’t come it” 3rd day I heard this!.. how can you not have pain medication! and my father called and they sad they had 20 pills but “didn’t want to give them out”.. like the review before they have no care for the patients! Just stick to CVS and Walgreens!.. I tried the smaller places but they don’t care as well!..

I don’t typically write reviews, however, it was such a negative experience at the pharmacy yesterday afternoon, that I will not be going back. I don’t care how convenient it is. They are not helpful employees at all; lackadaisical attitude, and just simply not people friendly employees (short, curt) from the moment I walked in. It’s like they couldn’t be bothered by me, except there was literally not a single person in the store. Their prices beyond insurances (retail), and trust me I compare I around, are astronomically ridiculous. $35 for a few prescription pills that have always cost me $11, and yes, same insurance. Makes no sense to ever come here with the local options we have. Just bad all around pharmacy practices with clueless technicians running the place. No wonder nobody was in there for a while. Management needs to reevaluate their prices and do some serious business: tender, love, and care, because I think people are starting to see that there are fantastic better options in the Babylon area.

I am never going to a chain store again. At Village Pharmacy and Surgical, you are not treated as a number, but rather like family. The pharmacists and technicians are very helpful and caring. The pharmacist gives you attention and fills medications very quickly. To the person who commented on not having the full amount of tablets on a prescription, it happens. In my opinion, that is a minor inconvenience. One of my medications is rarely dispensed, so I understand why they may not have the total amount on hand. The courteous, kind, fast customer service surpasses any other area pharmacies. I recommend Village Pharmacy and Surgical to everyone.

This place is ridiculously unprofessional. The website and three signs on the door says open at 10am. The woman doesn't even walk in the door until 10:15

Very nice and knowledgeable young woman who knew what I needed, great price. I have called at least 20 drugs stores, they didn't have any, that was unfair to me who's disabled.That God I found this Place, I said that to the young woman.Thank God I found this place, I will be using this place more often.June Messina

Wonderful service! I needed something delivered ASAP and they made sure to get it to me that afternoon . Sweet people. Even wiped everything down with lysol before delivering.
