I had an amazing journey working with nutritionist Ashley Vadasz (RDN) when I was pregnant. I'm just over 5 months PP now and I'm feeling great. She helped me take control of unhealthy eating habits. Our sessions during my pregnancy helped me focus on making healthy, safe choices for me and my baby, and I was able to keep up with that in the months since baby was born. I used to have problems with binging, and alternatively I was obsessed with weighing and measuring my food to the ounce - a scale at home and one at work, which also led to depriving myself of food I wanted, which continued a cycle of bad habits... Since my sessions with Ashely, I've kicked the binging, and I no longer feel like I have to diet. I barely even weigh myself and I just feel like I know how much to eat and what my body needs. Allowing myself to have "fun" snacks in moderation and not deprive myself, Ashley's suggestions, made a world of difference. I can finally get the BIG box of oreos and make it last, and I'm no longer scared to keep other snacks in the house. I feel satisfied and happy when snacking, and I have ice cream almost every night, but I know my days are balanced with good proteins, fruits, veggies, and other nutritious options. I gained about 40 lbs during pregnancy and I've safely lost most of it already. I'm exercising regularly and I like what I see when I look in the mirror. I'm finally happy with my body and I feel confident that I'm eating right, even when I indulge. It's probably cliche, but Functional Nutrition Rx changed my life...

I am finishing up my second year of monthly sessions with Christina. Initially, she listened to my concerns and goals and crafted a personalized plan that was both realistic and sustainable. Throughout our time together, she has been readily available to answer my questions and provide support. She is incredibly responsive and genuinely cares about my progress. I have had significant changes in my body composition as well as increased success in my fitness performance goals. Our checkins always result with some new recipes that I am excited about and a plan modification that is directly aligned to my gym goals and current daily activities. I have referred many friends to Functional Nutrition and each one of us has a completely customized success plan. Highly Recommend!

I saw Christina after getting blood work that has my cholesterol and blood pressure readings that were significantly high. Working with Christina, we made an actionable plan catered to my specific goals that so far upon writing this, brought my overall cholesterol down 52 pts and my LDL down 54 pts so far. At the same time of doing this, we have tracked my muscle and body fat percentage which have seen an increase in lean muscle while loosing body fat. Upon meetings and collecting data on my progress, we have made adjustments along the way. Her recipe suggestions are delicious and not too overwhelming to prepare. Christina is a true professional in her field and my health from the inside out shows because of her service!

I've been working with Christina at Functional Nutrition Rx for several months. My initial goal was to ensure that I was eating optimally to achieve overall health & wellness and to support my exercise routine. Although I consider myself to have above average knowledge of nutrition, I was still missing something. Through reviewing my food intake, a series of questions and various science based tests, Christina identified some changes that I needed to make. She designed a food plan and made some recommendations on food choices, meal timing and supplemtation. Shortly after implementing the changes I noticed feeling more energy during my wokouts and throughout the day in general. Additionally, and to my pleasant surprise, after 1 month following the plan my body composition changed. I actually gained 2 lbs of muscle mass while losing 2 lbs of body fat. At 61 years of age I was extatic to find that I could actually gain muscle like that. Christina has a very broad base of functional nutritional knowledge that goes way beyond simply balancing macro nutrients into understanding how foods actually impact our bodies, micronutrient deficiencies, hormone balacing and much more. I have already recommended Christina and Functional Nutrition Rx to my wife and several family members.

I appreciated the owner getting back to me / listening to my concerns.Since day one i felt an unwelcoming vibe.I understand people have lives, i wasn’t one to ask many questions . All i asked is for a simple reply here and there Or a “hey I’m so sorry i didn’t get back to you” etc .. I wanted To feel like the service I was paying for gave me the support that was needed. In the end i found out it just wasn’t the right fit . My bad for confided in a company that pretty much told me to go else where .

I started meeting with Christina because my husband wanted to change his diet and asked me to do it with him. At the time, I knew I also needed to eat better in general. What I didn't realize was how much better I would feel once I started following Christina's recommendations. Within several weeks, I had more energy than I had felt since college. I was no longer tired all the time, my headaches went away, I was accomplishing more in a day that I was accustomed to, and health issues I have battled with improved. Over ten months, I lost more than 35 pounds. Christina's recipes are delicious, and she sets reasonable goals and expectations. Moreover, by following her guidelines, I have learned to be mindful about what I am putting inside my body as well as adapt other recipes to stay away from high-processed ingredients and use whole foods instead. I am very grateful to her
