I had made a hair appointment a month in advance for prom, which is a significant event. On the day of the appointment and prom, I called to confirm, only to find out that my appointment had been canceled without any notice. The lady on the phone was very nice, but I wish they would've called me or let me know beforehand. This last-minute cancellation left me with no time to find an alternative, and as a result, it shattered the perfect prom image I had imagined. The lack of communication and consideration from the salon was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place if you're planning for an important event.

After trying several salons, and being dissatisfied, I went to Bali. I was pleasantly surprised by the expert cut from Greg. It is what suits me, and I love it!

I was skeptical when I came in. I spoke with Greg over the phone to come in for a consultation. I had a picture of the color I wanted exactly. On the first coloring my hair seemed dark and I wasn’t sure if it was going to come out anything like the way I wanted. Second highlight color after the wash I thought “this is not going to be anything I asked for.” But then when he cut it and began to blow it out, voila! The highlights popped out, my hair was this warmish mixed brown with reddish brown highlights. He color corrected my dry, frizzy, (much darker almost black) from drugstore hair boxed color, put on a sealing gloss, I could never get my hair this smooth, this soft, this silky and this TAME!! It’s a bit pricey, but if you have damaged hair, he’ll see your vision and give you the best treatment according to your hair type! He just recently moved out to LI from NYC and we are so great full to have him! I am telling all my friends! I’m not one to sit in a chair every week for 3 hours but I will follow up and sacrifice on an every 6 week visit (or if the greys are popping out too soon). Lori is the absolute best!! She always perfects my blonde, listens to my concerns and is great company too!! Everyone in the salon is friendly and welcoming and I always leave thrilled with the results! Would highly recommend Lori, especially for blondes!!!

Such an amazing experience today. I have been going into the city for years for my hair styling cut. After today I'll be going to Bali Hair Designs instead of trekking into the city. No need to go to the city when the city has come to Babylon! With a master haircutter like Greg, the owner of Bali Hair Designs I don't have to hop the train anymore. Lori is truly the most talented, sweetest stylist and has the best chairside manner. My mom & I love our hair dates in her chair & today we were both blown away by our results! Lori is thorough & so skilled, the assistants are top notch, the receptionist makes you feel like a celebrity & the whole atmosphere is beautiful with the new updates & overhaul. I can't say enough good things about Bali Hair, in particular Lori! I have been going here for 6 years after moving out from the city, and I've never looked back. Lori and the staff at Bali are all so warm and welcoming. I love how Lori continually researches new trends, and whether I want to keep things the same, go a little longer, get brighter for the spring or warm things up for the fall -- my hair color and cut exceeds expectations every time, and I get a ton of compliments on my hair.
