The lady working there or owner is not very nice. Every time I’ve stopped in she gives a terrible attitude. The looks, the disposition of someone bothered and disgusted by people. Can’t ask anything without a nasty reply. Why on earth do people run a business if they don’t want to be friendly. Giving them business seems to turn her off. My husband too, he’s been there buying corn stalks and more, he came home and said the woman there is so put out by people. The nicer you are the more she is nasty. I don’t get it.

We got the year's best corn here. But Hoffay's charges $9.50 for a single watermelon. (Good luck moving those watermelons this summer.) I usually buy bales of hay at this place. The hay (unlike most of the produce) is reasonably priced.

Stopped here with the extended family, including 3 dogs, for ice cream. They serve Hershey's but the flavor selection was very good. I highly recommend the Banana Pudding and Hazelnut Heaven. They also have soft serve ice cream. The kids enjoyed the playground while the adults yacked. They also have a little miniature golf course, but we were too tired from an earlier hike. I will definitely be back to give it a try as well as some of the other flavors!

This place is really cute. The ice cream is pretty good, my only issue..i got a hot fudge sundae, yes on whipped cream nuts and a cherry, the issue, you can't cover the hot fudge with nuts, the 'sprinkle' of nuts goes on the whipped cream not a cup and a half of nuts in the hot fudge it wrecked it. It totally wrecked it.

Nice location, store and products. The lady selling produce out front would do herself a favor to lose the attitude. There are plenty of other farm stands with better offerings in the area.

Brought the kids here for ice cream for the very first time. The ice cream was good... Over priced. The lady working was rude. I offered a tip and she never thanked me. Never thanked us for coming in. When my son asked if he could pet the dog she threw attitude and said, rathert snappy, that it was too hot. When we were leaving, again no thanks for coming by. She seemed more interested in sitting on the porch chatting to people who were NOT us. I don't think we will be back. First impressions are everything

TLDR: Nasty people with nasty dispositions! Warmth & country hospitality NOT stocked here! DO NOT PATRONIZE!Zero Stars!!!!!For those who wish to read on:I was out for a pleasant Sunday drive & happened across this very quaint-looking establishment, so I decided to stop in for rest rooms & an ice cream cone. From there everything went BAD. When asked about a rest room, the proprietor, a nasty man outside on the porch--who looked like he was so much candle wax that had been poured into his seat decades ago & solidified-- was very terse, but that was easily overlooked. My family member used the rest room while I allowed my dog to, WITH LEASHE, exit my vehicle to stretch his legs, & proceeded to take him where any business he had wouldn't soil any pristine lawns. Incidentally, he had no business, so I returned to meet my family member, who then told me how rudely they'd been treated both inside & outside the establishment. The farm dog there was not leashed, & approached & greeted my dog, which was just fine.As I prepared to send my family member inside to get our ice cream cones, the happiness I'd been enjoying & the smile on my face were both (figuratively) slapped away by this proprietor and nasty, nasty, nasty man who barked out "You can't bring that dog in there!" as if I were some idiot who stepped off a boat yesterday & had no idea how to act in public. When I attempted to say "Of course, I wouldn't think of such a thing", he became nastier still, chastising us for using the facilities without purchasing anything. I, at that point, had had enough. I pointed out that I had intended to spend money there but NOT anymore! He then began to use profanity, so asked him if he treats all his customers equally as poorly as he had treated my group, but I received only 'BAHHHH" as an answer. My mother always said "kill 'em with kindness", so I wished him a wonderful life, smiled, & waved goodbye forever.Do yourself a favor, if you're out having a nice time and wish to continue doing so, DRIVE ON, and never set foot in this "anything-but-country-hospitality" establishment!
