I would advise to stay somewhere else. The rooms are outdated and need maintenance. Our TV and microwave are being operated through an extension cord that is hanging on the wall suspended in the air. The fire alarm went off at 4am and there was no attendant at the front desk to confirm there was not a fire in the building. Spoke to the attendant in the morning and she was rude and short. Stay at another location if visiting the area.

All I can say is you get what you pay for. But it is dog friendly if that’s a benefit.
Rooms: Room had a weird smell and other people in next-door were also smoking weed so you could smell that.
Noteworthy details: There isn’t always someone at the front counter and there is a virtual attendant for check-in.

It's nothing to write home about.
Fine hotel to sleep at. It's not the kind of place you'd like to be stuck at all day. No pool, the breakfast area wasn't open. The staff is extremely helpful and nice.
I would also say the room I stayed in definitely wasn't deep cleaned. There was a refrigerator and microwave, a pullout sofa bed, and a window nook. The room was very cute. The neighborhood was wonderful to walk around.
Walkability: Nice neighborhood
Food & drinks: Mark's pizzaria isn't too far and is fabulous.
Noteworthy details: Harriet Tubman historical location plus much more rich history in the area.

The Inn at the Finger Lakes in Auburn NY rates NO stars...because they have BEDBUGS!!! Stayed one night and woke up covered in bites & welts...went to doctor and was prescribed antibiotics and steroid cream...WILL NOT RETURN OR REFER...HORRIBLE!!! In addition, there is no front desk personnel after 3pm and NO security...extremely disappointed and distressed...

The only positive I can say about this place is the price of the room. Despite the listing stating a deli was on-site, there was no deli. The listing also mentions 24/7 front desk--a lie. No staff on site. I had to check in using a kiosk. It was very strange and impersonal. The sign that says "Breakfast Room" is a lie; there is no breakfast here. My room was adequate but I couldn't use the air conditioner because the unit squealed every time I tried to use ac (the fan was inadequate to stave off stuffy, smelly room). The lot is a shambles--it doubt the lawn has been mowed all summer.

Very nice environment and friendly staff. The check in process is automated through a kiosk and is very cool.

Stayed 13 nights. Charged me for 14. Still working that out though. Rooms clean. Great staff. DSS people there in good spirits. Kind and friendly. Animals, big dogs especially too much to take sometimes. All in all ok. Continental breakfast ok.

Looks nice on the website. But it's a below average hotel for sure. Landscaping is definitely not kept up. Rooms are not super clean looking. Smells a little trashy in the hotel.

Location is good. Bed feels cozy. Room is small. The hotel is smoke free, but the entire hotel and room smell of old cigarettes. There are pubic hairs all over the bathroom floor. Long hairs in the tub. The tub and sink do not look like they have been cleaned in a long time. The trashcans in the lobby are overflowing onto the ground. The dog feces in the outdoor let area is all over the ground and no one has cleaned it up. Check in was virtual. No staff to address these concerns.
