Walkability: Easy walk to train and restaurants”
“Camptown is a gem. Wonderful two nighter with daughter. This is a sum of the parts type of place. Great staff, cozy, clean cabins with nice products, well appointed pool deck with great lounges and towels, pretty (but limited trails), fire pit for relaxing, really good morning coffee, convenient to Hudson, super dog friendly and chill. Only downside I would mention is that when full may be a bit crowded (we were there during the week), not accessible - need to walk to cabins on your own with bags - they will help with golf cart if available (this should be a part of their service) and items in pantry too expensive. Smore kit was $30 and made 4. The last ad final detail : casa Susanna is OFF THE HOOK! Best Mexican I have had outside of CDMX - that's right NYC! I said it.”

“A true getaway from the city!
My partner and I loved our stay here. The cabins are nestled between gorgeous pines & have all your basic needs covered.
The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. We initially booked two nights, and stayed an extra night to enjoy the quiet woods, fireside eating, and the nearby hiking.
There are so many trails just a short drive away. It felt nice to come back to our cozy cabin and have a hot shower after spending the day outdoors.
Definitely recommend bringing an iron skillet or anything else you need to cook by fire.
Wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.
Nearby activities: Near Katerskill Falls, North-South Lake, and many other hiking trails. Windham Mountain, Mine Kill, & Elm Ridge are a beautiful scenic drive away.
Food & drinks: Expect your basic needs covered and a nice grocery nearby to stock up on extras.
The cabin included 2 1L boxes of water, salt & pepper, olive oil in packets, sugar/sweeteners, packs of teas & coffee, and a s’more’s kit.
We brought our own seasonings & ingredients for breakfast + snacks as well as more water + beverage options.
Also, there are lovely restaurants nearby to try like Julia’s Local & the Yellow Deli.”
“Staying at the Hudson Whaler was such a treat. Right in the center of town, the Whaler was incredibly convenient and offered free parking behind the building. It's a cozy, very clean and quiet boutique hotel for anyone in need of a peaceful getaway. The staff was friendly and accommodating and offered cleaning services from mid morning through the afternoon. Cannot recommend the Hudson Whaler enough to satisfy anyone's quaint town vacation needs. Thanks for the stay Hudson!”
“Perfect! Worked out exactly as we'd hoped, location, vibe, everything.... relaxed. The people that run it seem nice and they clearly take care of the rooms with little touches. We enjoyed our stay and I bet we stay again sometime”

We loved everything about the Howard. Newly updated with a full kitchen, fantastic bath, large TVs in living room and bedroom. Tall ceilings and charming. Will go back in a heartbeat!”

3807 County Rte 26, Greenville“Our new favorite place to stay in the Catskills! As soon as we arrived we felt so welcomed and relaxed…Check-in was smooth and the lobby’s a cozy space for cocktails or a card game. The rooms (we had a king room) are a perfectly styled mix of vintage and modern, they’re clean, comfy and equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend away! Our friends booked “the suite” so we got to enjoy that space too. We loved it so much we had Woodhouse Pizza deliver our dinner to the suite one night and had our own private dinner party (def staying in the suite next visit-it’s gorgeous!)We ate almost the entire menu and plenty of Italian margaritas…Everything was house-made, sooo good and fresh! They also offer a simple breakfast menu (the BEST french press coffee and scone ever!) delivered to your room or anywhere on the property if you prefer to eat outside. This place has it all for a wonderful upstate getaway…great location close enough to shopping, arts, stunning drives/views but also a very peaceful and quiet property. The staff was friendly and attentive, the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, the food is delicious and the vibes are chill! We will def be back soon!”
“We enjoyed our stay at the Catskill Motor Court and would be happy to stay here again. We enjoyed seeing happy children playing together on the very nice playground. We slept well in our comfortable and quiet room. This place is an older building that has been refurbished, and our room was very clean. We had plenty of room - our room contained 2 double beds, a couch and table, a dresser and a tv, and there was still plenty of room to move around. We look forward to seeing our kind and helpful host again when we return!”
“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the St. Charles Hotel in Hudson, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere exuded warmth and hospitality. The manager, MD, went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests truly stood out.The accommodations were comfortable and luxurious, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the charming town of Hudson. The hotel's central location made it convenient to visit local attractions and dine at nearby restaurants.I cannot recommend the St. Charles Hotel enough to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Hudson. Thanks to MD and the wonderful staff, I am already looking forward to returning. This gem of a hotel has undoubtedly become my top choice whenever I visit Hudson again. So reasonableRooms: It's very clean”
“Keep your eye on this gem. Under new management with a vision and a deep respect for the past.Upon arrival, I felt welcomed. Rebecca and Jen truly shine in this establishment. The food was phenomenal; delicious, generous, with an appealing menu.I spent the day in nearby Kaaterskill Falls followed by relaxing on this beautiful porch. My evening encompassed excellent live music, dancing, and laughs.Personally, I am looking for a venue for a family reunion . I will be bringing The Bavarian Manor Hotel back for strong consideration by my family.”

12600 State Route 9W, Coxsackie“This place is a 10 out of 5. I arrived close to midnight seeking a simple cheap bed on a long trip. Unsolicited, the staff offered me a room upgrade for free at check in because they had something better available. Bed was super comfy. Room was updated and clean. Pillows were fluffed. I noticed there was coffee and tea in the lobby (there is also a coffee maker in the room and fridge). When I went to get some hot water for tea, the staff redirected me to the adjacent breakfast room where the water was hotter. I noticed they are serving breakfast on sturdy compostable paper plates rather than environmentally hazardous Styrofoam or plastic I see consistently at comparable hotels. The staff could not have been friendlier or more welcoming to this exhausted traveller. And they are dog friendly! I haven't seen the pool yet, but can verify its there and looks to be a decent size. This is going to be my go to stop in the Albany area.”
“I wish they would separate the google pages for the tavern and the hotel as separate entities on google maps.
It makes it really confusing to discern their hours and hard to tell if they are open as a tavern restaurant day to day since they dont put their hours on this google page (its set up as a hotel page). Like when ppl filter for open hours snd restaurants, it evades google filters. I think they would get more restaurant business (esp from locals) if they did this. I wish tavern was open in the summer, but I don’t even know if it is or not because the Google page is so confusing. I would definitely separate the tavern and the hotel as isolated Google pages. Glad they separated the grill.
Also think the food should be open on more days— tuesdays, wednesdays, even mondays. Not just weekends. Patrick Henrys is making a killing on those days up in coxsackie.
Anyways, im an extreme fan of both tavern and grill. Highly recommend both spots. Five stars for food and atmosphere, but only 4 stars because of bad google maps page. Great food in exceptional atmosphere. Best spot around”
