“They usually have what I need, however on the weekend I don't know what it is, but I've seen people shop there right before a storm or holiday and they buy everything, totally clean the asked out so someone in need can't buy it. I don't know if it's city folk or what but geeze save something for the next guy or go to Sam's Club in Kingston and buy a large quantity. This is just a small home town grocery market. Their food each item is close to $5 each. Way too expensive. Go to Walmart and shop you get more for your money.
The employees are very helpful and most times it's clean.
They need more cashiers, they have one or two registers open when store is full, like weekends, not good.”

“I am a raving fan of Aldi in general, but this store is my favorite. Their staff is the best. Most of them have been there for years. They are friendly, efficient, and hardworking. I love the smaller store layout. I am in and out with a week’s worth of groceries in less time than I usually spend standing in line at other supermarkets. I don’t have to spend time or brain power deciding what brand and size is the best value. We try to keep our meal planning simple with a limited amount of processed foods, and find that Aldi covers about 95% of our needs. I believe our weekly grocery bill is less than half of what we would spend elsewhere. For best results, join one of the Aldi Aisle of Shame facebook groups. “My daughter’s first time trying oxtails and cabbage and her rice and she spent the entire time sitting the back seat smiling and dancing while eating her food. To say less it’s the best spot to get a real home cooked meal”

“Large supermarket. Best prices in the area. To get done take prices you need to "clip" digital coupons on their app on the day after July 4th several sales items were out of stock. Helpful and friendly staff including deli and checkout.”
“I ordered a cake about a month ago for pick up at Catskill Ny. I ordered a rainbow pullpart cupcake cake with my child's name on it for a happy 6th bday. I went in on 5/22 to pick it up. When I got there it was nothing I ordered. When asked they said that their spray machine was broken and he put sprinkles on it and they were all individual not a pull apart. I was beyond mad. They could have called and told me it was down and asked if there was something else I wanted but failed to do so. This was not the manager of the bakery but A younger guy. The manager came right out and said I dont know why when they have been told to always check that this happened. I then went up to customer service and spoke to Collen Corin. She not only took care of the problem ,she went into Newburg to pick up the cake for me that she personally placed a order for me. I needed the cake by 10am today and she had it there by 8. I can not tell you how happy I was. Collen I know for a fact has been with Catskill a very long time and I personally have seen her go over and beyond for customers and employees. She absolutely one of the best employees pc has going for them.”

“After a long ordeal of 3 plus months trying to obtain a prescription med at another nearby national chain drug store I finally caved in and stopped at the Hannaford pharmacy counter while in there shopping for groceries. The staff was beyond helpful in providing me with fast and accurate information about the availability of a particular medication. I had my doctors office send in a new script and within days they accomplished what I could not get done with my previous drug store. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great service , much appreciated. I will be transferring other meds over as they come up for refills. THANK YOU HANNAFORD PHARMACY !Bob Tomaso Claverack, NY”
“I stopped in this store at around 1 pm today (March 11th). The young man at the register was amazing. I didn’t see any other employees on the floor but he took care of every customer, helped direct people to find the isle they needed, and blew up balloons for me in the process. His customer service was amazing. I have not seen anything like it in a long time!”

“I stop at this Stewart’s when I’m in the area, which has been a lot recently. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and everything is well stocked. I’ve had the burgers and pizza and few times and they’re pretty good. Personally love the coffee from Stewart’s too! Only suggestion, have more cheese pizza or garlic pizza as not everyone eats pork.”
“All kinds of coffee on tap self service. A Huge beer selection, including "hard" fruit types. Stocks necessities and many snack items. NY Lotto, scratch offs, Quick Draw. Attached to an A&W restaurant and a Liquor store, all the same owner.”

When I went to Walmart Saturday at 6:30pm the hot food section was already closed (staffing issues) so I settled with a banana to satiate my hunger- sad though. Lovely bakery section with a nice selection of bread and pastries. Cool that they had a whole organic produce section. I wish the produce was a little higher quality as I had to dig more than usual to obtain my desired level of freshness. As usual with Walmart the prices are sensational and the selection is vast. Ps. They have chocolate filled marshmallows that were a hit with my camping companions”
