I would not recommend this store. There is never respect for costumers, always waiting. Special a owner, he don't like his job, I was so meni times never even say hello, when I ask for something, he don't care... Sad, sad..

the guy here never ever checks ID. protect your store & the underaged. the guy only asked for ID when this lady was here and even scanned my ID (i'm of age) and said i couldn't get a scratch off but i'm old enough too. but he always sells me scratch offs without asking for ID. i guess not in front of his manager?they wasted my time & was being so rude. i have some decency to not tip the police about this illegal aspect of the store. but your worker never ever checks ID & that's illegal. im only petty because they were petty. i went to the deli in the next block and bought a scratch off and they asked for ID as they should. and they sold it to me because i'm of age.

This place is truly a hidden gem in Astoria. It looks like a run of the mill convenience store/bodega, but it has such a great and extensive selection of craft beer (as well as non-craft beer too, if you aren't fussy). I honestly thought it was a convenience store that happens to sell good craft beer for the longest time, but the realized the other day that it is actually a beer shop that happens to look like a convenience store. Whatever. The range of products is second to none, and the prices are entirely reasonable. Go here and give them all your money.

Best beer selection in Astoria! I go here from time to time when I want to find solid beer. They also have a really cute cat.

for me this is the place to grab a soda or some lottery tickets when i am doing some shopping or waiting for my food order while i am on 30th ave in astoria but for mostly everyone else its the place to grab some beer from domestic , imported and a bunch of other unknown craft beer (well unknown to me). as soon as you pass the front counter its wall to wall of fridges left to right filled with all different type of beer cans and bottles and for us not boozers the last 3 fridges on the right has the soft stuff like water, soda and other types of beverages . the middle of the shop has stacks of cans of beer and guarding it all is a friendly giant black cat thats roaming around at its own pace and thats cool with me. just like wine which i also dont really drink much of i do like looking at the different designs on the cans and bottles which some are really cool and i have on a few occasions purchased a few cans cause of the label designs . got my soda and lottery tickets and its time to bounce as its getting crowded with beer lovers .

If I could not rate would stars I would. While the selection is great, the staff are racist/allow their staff to be racist. They asked select people leave the store despite not causing problems or trying to steal but because of what race they are. Multiple people in the store and they single out those of specific races and ask them to leave. You can’t fix stupid but you can stop buying from them.

The beer selection in this place is second to none! As a gluten sensitive beer lover, it's good to see this place has a great selection of both cider and gluten free beer!

Good selection of local and national craft, as well as a few hard to get bottles. Priced for convenience. You can get better prices elsewhere, but for a walking distance shop, it is great.

One of the best beer selections in the area! Limited release bottles that would sell out in a matter of days in any other neighborhood can be found here long after that. One of the last places in NYC that had Mexican Cake in stock. Check it out.
