I don't understand all of the negative reviews for this salon! I've been coming here for about 2 years now and I've mostly had a positive experience. The nail techs are very kind to you, as long as you're kind to them. The salon itself is clean and they prioritize COVID safety. I get the powder gel manicures every time and I never had a fungal issue. At times they break but it's my fault. The downside is that making appointments are useless - they're really a first come first serve establishment. If you think they're rushing you or don't like what they're doing, just tell them! If you don't and come on here to complain, you're the problem.

I agree with the multiple reviews citing undesirable conditions at this establishment. Workspace tables appeared grimy and dirty. In contrast to other nail salons, this place does not provide individually packaged manicure sets to be used for each customer - oozes unsanitary workplace practices! Not at all impressed with this place! Should be renamed Imperfect Nail.

I write reviews very infrequently but this place is horrendous. I live in the neighborhood and walked in for a pedicure. The place is dirty, the staff is not polite and they take zero interest in doing a good job. Took her all of about 10 seconds to “cut” my cuticles and when she “scrubbed” my leg (basically just wiped scrub on it), she wiped it with a bounty. The massage was awful. This place is more expensive than the places that actually are clean, provide customer service and do a good job. Please save your time and money. The place is gross and you’ll probably get an infection if they cut your skin. Shame on this business owner.

Unfortunately had high hopes for this one but was grossed out from my experience here recently. There were old nails on the table I was getting my mani done, not very hygienic. I also got a "spa" pedicure, I'm still trying to figure out what was the service that made it be considered a spa. Overall don't recommend.

Horrible service. I went to just remove my gel and get a regular manicure. The lady doing my nails had an airpod in her ear and was watching YouTube while doing my nails. Seemed she was rushing even though there was only one other person there. I saw that she was doing a very lazy job so I skipped the color and just asked for a clear coat. While removing my gel she was using a gritty nail file and it was going over my cuticles and it was rough. She asked how I wanted it shaped and still did it however she wanted. Lotion application was also lazy. I may as well have done it all myself. Don't go here if you want good service.

Nail salon is clean and nice inside. Prices ok, a little on the expensive side for the service. Generously giving a 3 as my manicure chipped on the day I got it on 3 different nails, and also the skin around my nails started peeling a day after.

Similar to some other reviews (which I wish I read prior to) I wish I could give this business zero stars. They absolutely DESTROYED my nail beds by buffing off everything during a removal instead of soaking longer. A few hours after I left my nails were bright red and felt like a match was lit under them (see images). It was so bad that I had to take pain killers. They rush through everything and the place is absolutely filthy, never seen such a dirty salon. AVOID this place if you don’t want to have to spend the next few months repairing your nails.

My local nail shop closed so I started going to this place about 3.5 months ago. I had great encounters with Sammi. Today was a bit much. I had to wait an hour and ten minutes to have my gel polish removed. No follow up manicure, just remove polish. I have never been charged more than $5-$10 at any shop, from Manhattan, to brooklyn to queens. When I got to the the register the woman said $20 and my jaw droppped. Even with the wait she repeated the price jokingly. If you’re in a tight squeeze I would say go in and ask for Sammi. Otherwise, I would suggest Lovely Spa on 23rd.

Wait times are ridiculous! Second time calling for an appointment, arriving early or on time, and having to wait over 50 mins past my appointment time. This is outrageous- and you would think that they would throw in a some kind of small complimentary service for the wait time. Absolutely not. Don’t bother making an appointment honestly. I would’ve appreciated if they had told me the moment I walked in that they were backed up- would’ve come home and came back in that hour (or done anything else) but no they just had me sit there. Absolutely livid. The disrespect- never coming here again.

It totally depends on who you go to and if you have an appointment. If you don't have an appointment be prepared to wait awhile. A lot of the work posted here seems crap so it must be who you go to here Ella is great and does amazing work. I got into a fight and all my nails still stayed on and now after getting a filling she still did great work.

Unprofessional service ! And they are pricey for nothing ! ...this is my first and last time ! The place unbelievable disgusting and dirty ! I'm paid 40$ for 2sec pedicure ! WTH??? I
