Rosa did my nails and was very polite and professional, ensuring I had a great experience. I was hesitant to go due to the reviews, but I don't regret it. The prices are affordable, and they go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. While Rosa was doing my manicure, another lady offered a shoulder massage. My nails look great, and Rosa did a great job. I would definitely go back.

The staff needs a lot of training, waisted 2 hours of my time doing powder nails on my real nails….told her to keep my coffin shape, and she changed it to round, this girl never took out the drill or used the led uv, i don’t know how long this will last, i just walked out of there, will never go again!

Definitely the best pedicure in Astoria. We recommend this place all the time. My fiance and I go here monthly and, while I enjoy the calf massage and afternoon in a massage chair, she has found the nail clean up and painting to be meticulous and is pleased at the overall cleanliness of the salon. We will continue to recommend (at least for pedicures ATM). Looking forward to trying the massage services in the near future as well.

Moved to Astoria recently and looked for nail salons on Yelp; saw J'aime and three stars almost deterred me but went due to location. I've been twice and had a great experience both times. $55 for an excellent mani/pedi - some may say that's steep for Queens but it's worth it and people need to make a living. The pedicure comes with a lil paraffin and 5 min massage, and the interior is clean and everyone so kind. Definitely give them a try!

Came in for a gel filling, they didn't fill just put painted on top and claimed they filled. Man was aggressive and threw the receipt down. Never filed or buffed. Charged me 70 dollars anyways and the manager played dumb.

I went for the first and last time just went for a dip powder and gel top coat for $53 where other places are 45. Anyway by the 2nd day the top coat was chipping so I went back and they kinda fixed it but still kinda messy. Also note that the nail tech are not fully employed there full time and they are call in when needed and might not have a license. Very disappointed for a place to looks very . Lost a customer .
Update: my nails got worst on Saturday returned for a refund and the were not able to give me one, why would I want my nails redone for the 3rd time in less than week. It is the quality of the product not the nail tech. Sadly have put a claim with AMEX since services were not rendered.

Was over charged to paint my nails and it chipped 5 days later thank you for nothing but your rude attitudes should have been 12 instead charged 23 and was rude about it!

I got a regular pedicure and powder manicure. The pedicure was fine but the powder manicure chipped on two nails within 24 hours which I didn’t think was possible with powder. I went back two days after I got it done to get it fixed which they did, but the guy that fixed it didn’t put the powder on all the way to the sides of my nails so he had to work to fix it again. I try not to write negative reviews but I’d say this place is too expensive to have this type of service.Positives are most of the people are nice/ friendly and the place is very nice looking and clean.

The name should be J’aime Spa! They even changed the music to give it a better more relaxing feel. Tons of space, great services and the techs are sweet and give you the best of their time. Ruma and Rosa are my faves and Érica and Lisa run the place. I don’t live in Astoria anymore but come here for all my nail manicures and pedicures. Pricey but worth the expense to be pampered!
