A very good professional dog walking biz in Astoria that saves me plenty of time and guilt when I am not able to walk my little pug. Rates are reasonable , dog walkers are friendly and do a great job giving your dog a nice long walk . I have used buster and whiskers 4 times in the last 3 months and every walk to date has been A plus . Flexible times makes it a perfect situation when I am unable to walk the little one and the dog walkers have always showed up on time and the little one is happy when he gets back home after a nice long walk .Would recommend this biz without any hesitation and they are worthy of 5 stars on my yelp meter .

Amazing team! Sansa waits them at the door when it’s close to the time when they come to pick her up for the walk and always comes back so happy! She loves them! Igor and Jen are great, very experienced, professional and attentive. There’s no other dog walking company better than Busters & Whiskers in Astoria. They are the best!

Buster and Whiskers was a godsend for our energetic pup, Kora. We were feeling overwhelmed with her energy needs and desire to play with other dogs - she would pull on walks to go greet other dogs and was unresponsive to us on the leash. We began walks with B&W and everything changed! Our days are more manageable, she’s incredibly responsive on leash, and she is able to walk with other dogs peacefully. Kora is happy, healthy, and gets plenty of socialization and stimulation during her daily walks. We would recommend this service to anyone with a more energetic, outgoing pup who needs to learn to walk calmly with other dogs!

I am so glad that I had found Buster & Whiskers when I moved to Astoria. They were wonderful, patient and very professional with my previous dog - who was a much older dog. And now, with a new puppy, they are once again impressing me with their professionalism and also with the training they’ve been doing with my puppy on his walks! He’s been progressing so quickly. It’s absolutely amazing.

We have loved our experience with Buster and Whiskers. Jen and Igor are incredibly professional business owners and are easy to work with. The walkers are all dependable, kind, and our dog loves them all. I love the daily emails I get with photos from his walk! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an Astoria dog walker.

Buster and Whiskers has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my pup Doug! Doug has been walking with the B&W team for a few months now and absolutely loves every minute of his walks with the team. He started at about 4 months old and it's made much such a difference in his leash walking training and socialization. Additionally, it's such a relief to know that my dog is in reliable and safe hands when I'm not home with him, and that he's working with a team of people he's been able to form a relationship with versus a random new person every time. Jennifer, Igor, and full team at Buster and Whiskers are absolutely amazing to work with as they always are extremely communicative and flexible, and they send great pictures of the pups on their walks. Would definitely recommend!

Cannot recommend Busters & Whiskers enough! My pup LuLu has a lot of fear and anxiety and their team is patient and kind with her. They are also super professional, knowledgeable, and lovely to speak with. Glad LuLu is in such great hands on her walks!

Igor, Jennifer, and the team are so responsive and clearly care about our pups. We have two rescue dogs and B&W walks both of them on weekdays for an hour. One of our dogs was extremely fearful when we adopted her a few years ago. After a lot of work with multiple great dog trainers, play therapy, and eventually an SSRI, she improved a lot. But after we started her on walks with Igor and the team, she's gained even more confidence, is happier, and it's so noticeable. Also, when I was interested in making sure we could reinforce what Igor was doing on their walks, he went out of his way to show me what he does, and took us on a walk with the dogs to give us experience. Could not recommend them enough.

Working with the team at Buster and Whiskers has been an incredible experience. Walks are a night and day difference from where they were when we started.Everyone that we've interacted with has been nothing short of wonderful and most importantly our pup loves them too. Our dog is reactive but not aggressive and Igor was patient with us and our dog and was thorough in explaining what we needed to continue doing and what we needed to work on. Training felt like a true partnership and that isn't always easy to come by.We trust the team implicitly with our dog and would not hesitate to recommend Jen, Igor and team to anyone.

When I tell you Buster and Whiskers has been a true blessing, I really mean it. To preface, I've got a Labrador Retriever, and when I started work last year. I was so worried/stressed out that I wasn't giving Sully (my dog) the proper attention, because I was working closing shifts, aka exercise and socialization. He's a big boy who has a lot of energy, and I definitely didn't want him to feel lonely. Thankfully my brother found this group of dog walkers, and with a mix of group walks and solo walks- I've not only felt a lot better knowing he was being taken care of but I can tell he's really happy once I come home. It's just a huge relief and I love looking at the photo's that I get and so does my co-workers. Oh, and before I forget! The team is communicative, knowledgeable and flexible, not to mention kind and friendly. Love them to bits!

Cannot recommended Buster and Whiskers enough! They have been amazing with our dog Abby who was becoming reactive to other dogs on her walks. We noticed positive changes during her walks just a week after we started working with them. Abby loves her pack and now looks forward to her walks every day! Jennifer, Igor, and all their dog walkers are professional, knowledgeable, communicative and flexible. We are so grateful to have found them!

Buster and Whiskers are simply the best dog walkers in Astoria, seriously. They take such good care of your dog and are so attentive to their specific, individual needs. I initially started having my dog walk with him as a 6-month old puppy because he needed some extra socialization away from home and my partner and I, and was also developing some bad habits while walking, like barking. After a couple of weeks after joining the B&W pack, his walking improved so much and the walks quickly became one of his favorite moments of the day. I loved that they slowly introduced him to larger packs of dogs (I was amazed the first time to see him walking harmoniously a group of larger dogs) and also gave us personalized help with learning to walk our pup better ourselves. Truly a great local business in Astoria!

We love Buster & Whiskers! I had my 2 year old pup, Pancake, for a month when he became really reactive toward moving cars, bikes and runners. We were able to get in with B&W after a few weeks and immediately notices changes. Igor helped me understand the type of actions I needed to take to curb Pancakes behavior and gave me recommendations for leash set ups that my dog would respond better too (previously I had tried two different harnesses and wasn't seeing the results I'd hoped for). Igor even lent me a slip lead for a week or so until the lead I ordered came in. Pancake looks forward to his walk everyday and I love getting the photos they share of him with his pack!
