I’ve known Ashley for a few years now. I have nothing but great things to say. She has always been so helpful and knowledgeable and compassionate. My 13 year old dog Bowser wasn’t doing so well and it was time to make that hard call. Ashley was there for me and guided me every step when it came down to giving my dog peace. I’m so grateful for Ashley and Dr. E and their practice! Bowser was comfortable up and we had a peaceful passing for him. Thank you Ashley for always being there for me and for him! You loved him so much. Thank you.

The staff is great and very respectful. They are very professional and take great care of their patients. This is the second year I bring my cats for their annual checkup and I love their work.

I’ve been taking my dog to this vet for years, but they changed ownership without informing anyone. Before traveling, I asked for a rabies shot, which they said was USDA approved. Turns out, the vet who administered it wasn’t USDA accredited, and they failed to advise me properly. I had major issues returning because I couldn’t get the proper forms from them. They were slow to respond, completely unhelpful, and clueless. To top it off, the part-owner called and yelled at me, cursing telling me to stop harassing her vet, instead of helping. This place is unprofessional, rude, and a scam. Stay far away!

My long time vet retired and we tried a couple of vets in queens; only to be sadly disappointed. Dr Ehmann was recommended to us by an emergency veterinary and we couldn’t be more thankful. The compassion and dignity she treated my anxiety ridden rescue dog was beyond anything I have experienced. Dr Ehmann and her staff (especially Ashley) embody empathy and kindness. Thank you!!!

Truly the best Vet experiences we’ve ever had. Compassionate and thoughtful care while guiding us through my 12 year old cat’s illness and eventual passing. Really good people!! Highly recommend.

Pros: the front desk is politely answering calls and giving appointments. They tolerated me taking multiple appointments and cancelling because of my changing schedules. They answered my pet’s insurance several times and were patient with that.
Cons:i took appointment for a dental problem of my cat with a specific doctor named K, whom I was following with from another clinic. But when I arrived, my cat was seen by another doctor named Dr.E and no explanation except: yes we know that you want Dr. k but she is busy right now in a surgery and anyway she isn’t doing dental procedure!
I agreed for Dr.E. I was given estimates for the procedure. When I decided to do it with the doctor they suggested, the estimates were changed to 500$ higher and these won’t there before. What made me really upset is one staff named A. Initially she raised the price then she said Dr.K isn’t with us anymore if you won’t to go another clinic. I agreed for whatever she asked for then I asked her if they have discount. She said this is a business and this isn’t a mechanic. She told me: “we won’t accept to do the procedure for your pet”. I told her:” so if your doctor doesn’t want to do the procedure why are you manipulating from the start, changing the prices and telling me that the doctor left the clinic etc.. She answered: We won’t give you the service, go to a cheap place, God bless” and she hanged up the phone.
My cat has insurance which can cover him up to 5000$. I am sad to see such way in dealing with health conditions in NYC. My cat is suffering and was seen already by their doctor.
I was honest in transferring my experience. I used first letter of the doctors’ names for confidentiality. I don’t want to harm anyone, just for other pet owners to be careful while dealing with their staff. I have dealt with many vets, but never saw like this clinic’s way in dealing with patients either in human’s or pets’ health care.
My money, time and effort were wasted.
Update: the owner answered claiming that I left because I didn’t get a discount. The truth is they refused to give me the service after wasting my money and time. This is simply because they don’t want to serve me, a sort of discrimination. I was going to do the procedure either with or without a discount, because my cat needs it, and they knew that very well. I don’t accept any excuses from this clinic and I don’t recommend this place for anyone.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. The doctor and staff are extremely kind, gentle, and understanding with my large fear-aggressive dog. I can't recommend them highly enough.
