“Brought in my dented car. Was warmly greeted. When my car was examined, they popped bumper back into place and then polished away most of the egregious scrapes. I was asked if I could live with the car that way as bumper is plastic and wouldn't rust out. I decided I wanted my otherwise perfect car to be totally perfect. “Very responsive and friendly service. I needed somebody to come look at my car at home in my driveway, and they sent somebody out as soon as I called. Price was very fair.When it was determined the car would need more service, they scheduled a tow at a time that was convenient for me later in the day. When the tow truck came, the driver was able to resolve my issue so that I could safely drive the car to the shop myself. Despite coming out in the snow, he decided not to charge me since I didn't need the tow after all. “About 5yrs ago, Mr Silva did some work on a car that I had. During that whole process, I asked him to powder coat my rims. He did, and they were great. I sold the car to my friend who lived in Florida. I saw that his rims stood up to the salt/sand and blasting sun heat. So when I bought my '24 Lexus, I drove my car to NY from S.Florida to have him powder coat the stock rims. Again a beautiful job. Yes, there is powder coat places in Florida, yet they wanted to hold my car 10 days along with a ridiculous high price. Tony does the work in 3 days with a very fair price. Mr.Silva, Tony, is a professional and and gentleman. I can't recommend this place more than I do. My ride home to Florida was great with my new rims. At each gas stop, I was constantly receiving compliments on my rims!! Thanks Silvas auto body!”

“Honest, reliable, quick - we could not have had a better experience! These guys are the best. We brought our 10 year old Subaru Forester into the Subaru Stamford dealership for a rattling noise and we were quoted 11K to repair a "mechanical failure" with the engine. Thank god we brought it to Red's for a second opinion. Joe Jr. squeezed us in to be seen right away and upon arriving did a quick check of our engine oil to discover that there was literally no oil. Can you believe this is how Subaru Stamford returned our car to us?! Especially after we paid them $700 for a synthetic oil change/tune up less than four months prior... Upon further inspection, Red's determined that aside from not having oil it in the engine was running fine. When we picked our car up - Joe Sr. took the time to show us how to check the oil and top it off ourselves. Everyone from Joe Sr., Joe Jr., to Benito at the front desk was awesome, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be returning with all of our automotive needs.”
“Nicest people in the world! My Honda Accord started acting very weird on the Parkway. Rapid search for closest garage. Managed to limp into Round Hill. John and his fellow master mechanics spent a good amount of time troubleshooting and found a "very unusual" blown fuse, which they replaced and then road tested. All seemed fine and they sent us on our way... and way more than fair.”

“I've had so many bad experiences with car mechanics over the years that I have come to just expect it, mostly in the form of blatant overcharging for work, recommending unneeded repairs (hello, brakes that somehow need to be replaced every year!), and sometimes just outright shoddy work. I'd become convinced that this is just the normal state of things, part of the game when owning a car. They overcharge you, you push back and work out a price that's still too high but whatever. They try selling you unneeded work, you decline, they push, you decline again, they come up with other unneeded services, you decline. Etc., etc., ad nauseum. So I've been more than a bit shocked at my experiences at Doerr's. No drama, no overcharging, no constant overselling of services, nothing. Just quiet, competent work for a fair price. You drop off the car and ask him to do an oil change? He'll do the oil change and charge you a nominal price, not 3x the going rate with an added note that you need to change your brand-new brakes because they're "wearing thin". You drop off the car for a New York inspection? He sees you need new wipers, calls to tell you so, charges you $18 per wiper - not $80 - and your car is ready for pickup. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but, to my perpetual amazement, it never does. It's my highest compliment, one I feel uneasy giving given how many times I've been let down by other mechanics, but- this guy is honest. He and his shop are a diamond in the rough.”
“Drove down to White Plains, from Upstate NY - 4 hours and discovered the front end of my car was very low. Family member's neighbor suggested I have No. Broadway Auto look at my car. Called & Chris said to bring it right down. Based on mu Audi 2014 A6 TDI was outside their scope, they suggested I locate an Audi dealership. Not only that they helped me locate the closet one to bring my car. My major issues was springs front end from POT HOLES on the way down. I would highly recommend this location for any service issue. They are honest and professional. Thanks Chris and team for the above and beyond service & assistance that your team went out of there way for a stranger in an emergency situation.”
