The WORST pharmacy experience in my entire life. MAJOR HIPA violations, everyone in the pharmacy screams your private information back-and-forth across the pharmacy, UNBELIEVABLE I will be filing a complaint with the secretary of the United States department of Health and human services. The pharmacist ELEANOR refused to give me her name, SHE LIED AND SAID SHE WAS A FLOATER no one has ever treated me so disrespectfully. I ended up cursing her out and leaving the store and the pharmacist thinks that I’m the one who’s wrong to be driven to that point when you just walked in looking to refill a couple of prescriptions ELEANOR IS UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND INCOMPETENT!!!!!!!! AVOID CVS AS LONG AS ELEANOR THE PHARMACIST WORKS THERE!!!!!

When attempting to reach the pharmacy you run the gauntlet of the automated phone attendant. The automated system does everything possible to avoid connecting you to a human. If you persist, you are rewarded with a transfer after several minutes of button pressing.
Unfortunately, callers frequently are abruptly "disconnected" before speaking with pharmacy staff. While it sounds like a staff member is picking up the receiver and dropping it in the phone cradle, the store manager insists that the problem is due to a flaw in the phone system which coincidentally disconnects calls at the point of transfer (???). The larger issue appears to be staffing: this location is understaffed with significant turnover (both the daytime pharmacist and the pharmacy manager recently left this location).
The CVS app, which the automated phone attendant prompts you to download at EVERY call, provides minimal information in many cases. It often fails to provide an accurate estimation for the filling of medications that are on back-order (the app states "out of stock" with no further information).
In addition, be warned: CVS will repeatedly sign you up for "automatic refills" even if you do not want or need this "service." Even after opting out of automatic refills, this option will, at times, reactivate without your input. They also carpet bomb you with requests to refill unless you "opt out." CVS is so desperate to maximize profits that they don't appear to care about their customer preferences. You are a revenue stream, not a patient.
In addition to obtaining a new phone system (?), hiring two pharmacists per shift during peak hours would help address the volume of work. The current system is severely dysfunctional.

Horrible pharmacy. They take forever to answer the phone. The retail portion of the store is severely understaffed.

The absolute worst customer service, I stayed on the phone for 20 minutes as a physician; was hung up on.
Usual state of affairs for CVS.

I had a horrible experience here. There was a schizophrenic cashier Marcella that was screaming at me and other customers. It was honestly a really scary and horrible experience and I am scared to come back here. She started yelling things after she scanned my CVS card and threw my receipt at me. All the employees apologized for her behavior, but I don't think it's right to have someone who needs to be institutionalized helping customers.

Extremely unprofessional, the pharmacists are mean and not accommodating. Made no attempt to be helpful after they made a mistake filling our prescription. Will never be returning.

This review is long overdue. I am just glad they have a competent senior staff , Stephanie, otherwise I almost miss my important dosage. The male pharmacy tech kept telling me that I don't have my prescription but actually just wasn't trained properly on how to read the system. Stephanie have saved me few times already. The pharmacists look all stressed and overwhelmed. No one picks up the phone when you call . I called my doctor's office and was hoping that they can help but ... their calls were also ignored. This Armonk CVS Pharmacy location wasn't that bad before so not sure what happened. This review pertains only to the pharmacy department.

I only wish that every CVS was this organized and hassle free. Ashley was so helpful and went out of her way to help me find something (when she wasn’t constantly restocking the shelves for the holidays!).

I’ve had several negative experiences at the Armonk store, and never added a negative comment, but yesterday’s experience warranted my review.. The pharmacy department is not always so friendly, but yesterday I interacted with was short Latin guy, at the drive up window, who was arrogant, aloof, unfriendly, and rude. He definitely lacks what it takes to be customer facing. CVS management really needs to take many of the reviews that the customers are posting more seriously.
