I recently came by and was both impressed by and appreciated Craig's knowledge. They have an excellent seasonal selection and I left with plenty of gardening tips. This will certainly be a place I return to for future purchases. I feel compelled to say I have no idea why "Mr S." above felt the need to write such a negative comment. Seeing as most of their comments are 1-2 stars and in another State, I would recommend others not take much stock in their review.

Faith and the team at Benedict Nursery are wonderful to work with. They are always helpful, have a great assortment of quality products, and are reasonably priced. We make it a mission to get our holiday decorations from them each year.

I’ve been buying plants from Craig Benedict and his sister for over 25 years. You get one on one personal friendly service with lots of help of appropriate varieties and colors to use. Wonderful hanging baskets which I clip off the hangers and “plop “” into the appropriate sized pot. Nothing could be easier. Quality of all the plants is excellent and fairly priced.

I incredibly dislike this place. The owners take advantage of the customer and attempt to get the highest price possible for whatever horrible plants they present. Even more so, they don't provide correct information - I wanted to buy indoor plants that could handle that type of climate and one of the owners (the man) showed me a tree and another flower plant. I was gullible and trusted his opinion and instantly bought both. Only later when I got home did I realize that the tree was obviously going to be way to be big to be inside and therefore not an indoor tree. Also the flower plant just planned died inside. Lastly, I tried to negotiate pricing especially on the crappy tree which honestly looked better with the weeds before he cleaned them up. Unfortunately, they are unable to release their attachment to their plants and overcharge you. The tree was new growth and weak and yet cost $75. You could most definitely find something like it for way less at Home Depot or even a garage sale if you looked. I should have. Overall, I'm very annoyed. It's overpriced and completely not worth it. Not worth the time, money or even thought.

Been going to Benedict's for years now and every time i go Im always greeted nicely...the people who work there are very knowledgable and the prices are very good..I don't understand where the person above me could've had a problem but I've been a customer for years and would highly recommend to anyone else...the wreaths I bought are hand made on the property and are beautiful every year

My mother always said, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." I drive by this place almost every day and was never sure whether they were open as the nursery is adjoining a home. The first time i drove in, walked around trying to find someone to help me find a deer resistant plant for my yard. Finally happened upon the owner, a woman who basically ignored me. Ok. A year later, thought I'd try my luck again. Similar scenario. Walked the grounds, not a person to be found. Again, happened upon what I presume is the husband watering plants. Walked towards him and said hello. Blank stare, followed by him just walking right past me. I think it's fair to say I was probably the only customer that day. Obviously, this is a hobby for this couple, and they have no real intention, or inclination, of selling plants.
