I was expecting a package today. So, when I saw that it had been delivered I went to my mailbox and lo and behold no package. I called 800 number it was a nightmare trying to get a human
I finally did she was nice however, when I tried to call the local number the phone just rang and rang. At one point I heard someone pick up then hang up!! This has to be the worst post office since it’s inception So, Arlington Post Office in Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 start picking up your phones and start helping people. Disabled people can’t always get to you,

The staff are always kind and professional, however, whenever i drop packages off, most of which are customer orders, this particular location doesn't send out the packages until its DAYS late. On the day it was supposed to arrive its allegedly "going through the network". Its frustrating because these orders are PLANTS. THEY WILL DIE IN THE BOX. Looks like you guys will owe me about $225 in orders if these do not arrive in good condition.

Joanne Gonzales is about as useless and condescending as you’d worry a manager would be in a situation in which you’re in need of customer service assistance. Losing messages, asking to call back after hours, calling back days after expected, and speaking in tones that reveal her lack of care or sincerity in her workEdit: for context, camera evidence shows an employee delivering an empty package to my home, it took her a week to find out what employee was working that day, and she called back to assure me that she asked her employee who stated that he definitely did not take it.

In my opinion, this Post Office has excellent service. They are very thorough, helpful and my experience with the staff there has been awesome because they are so thorough, knowledgeable and pleasant—which seems to be a rare combination in today’s world! So to the staff and managers there-thank u!

I love going here because the staff are most friendly but also bc it's more convenient for me to park my car. But like the one person said about the line being out the door sometimes and there will be just one clerk or the other clerk is doing something other than taking customers in line, and u stand there wondering why they can't jump in & help slim the line down. Not sure how it works with assigned tasks and the rules & all for working there though. But i do love to walk in and find no line. So i just wish something could be done when it gets backed up.

It would be beneficial to put a self service postage system up like they have at all other post offices. Sometimes the lines are out of control. The employees are pleasant but there is only so much 1 person can do.The employees take their time with each customer - but this may not be the quickest path. Customer service is usually ok but some of us need a faster route. There have been times the line out the door- not unusual - and then one of the clerks leaves ? I understand people have schedules and they must adhere but this doesn't look good for the 12 people standing on line.something to consider for faster service.

So disappointed. We thought our parents accidentally took our mailbox key, so they were sending it to us through the mail. They paid extra so that they would not put our package in the mailbox (since we didn't have the key to open it) and we would have to sign for it. Thankfully we found our mailbox key but when we went to our mailbox we found the package smashed in it. We called customer service who directed us to this usps office and before I could say a word the representative went on a tangent about how we are in a pandemic and how understandably workers want as little contact with people as possible. I truly understand and can respect that, but if that's how they are going to operate they should not have people pay for a service they have no intentions of fulfilling. When trying to explain the rep was very condescending and told me nothing could be done I can just try to file a claim online and then hung up me. All around service is trash.

Wont deliver to new developments requiring me to pick up from the post office, ok thats fine... But when you go to the post office and all 6 of your packages are lost that is unacceptable (after standing in line for 30min+). I spent almost a week and many hours of my time tracking them down, calling 4 different people and opening 2 different service requests. All of this could be avoided and unnecessary strain on this already busy post office location could be alleviated if deliveries would simply be completed by driving a couple hundred feet into a new development like Fedex, UPS, Amazon, and DHL all do.

The manager of this location is extremely rude to its employees, just patiently waiting for my turn and the way she speaks to them is unacceptable, I cannot imagine how much of a horrible work environment it is for them.

The wait times are always outrageously long. Sometimes there's a line out the door. The funny thing is that there are typically 2 people working, but the person at the counter does not call to help get the line out faster.. If you need to do something at this post office location, be prepared to wait on line for 15-25 minutes.
