I have gone back to this place several times to rent canoes for the reservoir. It's always a great experience. An authentic little mom-and-pop place. The staff is very kind and even walked me through the process of applying for my own DEP permit to get reservoir access. It's a cool little shop with everything you need for your fishing trip. The reservoir is so clean, serene, and beautiful, you must go out for the afternoon and enjoy it!

It is not a political statement that I am more than put off when the first thing I see on PBT's door is a decal of a candidate urinating on the term for my party status. That is insulting and rude no matter what party affiliation. The woman who rented the kayaks to us was not only vague about the licenses and paperwork necessary but completely unclear about the directions to the kayaks. When we called her for clarification, she informed us that we just were very bad at following directions. It took us two hours winding through the hills to finally get on the water when the location was very close. Final note - the locks to the kayaks were rusty and almost impossible to open. However, the location is stunning and we had a wonderful time kayaking. Suggestion to PBT: since there is no cell service for a GPS a clear and descriptive map including mileage to the destination would be helpful. AND, get rid of the insults plastered on the door.

I don't buy much bait but the food is off the charts and service is next level, also heard they are doing a big vegan menu for the rest of the people

Great tackle store with friendly and expert service. It is unfortunate that a punk with Trump Derangement syndrome left a nasty review because of political disagreement and lowered their overall rating.

I visited this shop with some friends not long ago, and was extremely underwhelmed. The place was dingy, dirty, and cluttered, with very little organization to their merchandise. We had come to rent some canoes for the day, and were met by a rude and unaccommodating woman who clearly thought she had better things to do. The process was slow and sloppy, and we ended up waiting around for an hour after our reservation before our equipment was even ready. Much of the store was also plastered in profoundly unprofessional political stickers, which made quite clear that the owners had little respect for their customers. As a generally rational and polite human being, I can't recommend this place to anyone similar. I would caution any more discerning folk not to give these people your business; it won't be appreciated, and frankly, it isn't deserved.
