Here now in the driver checkin place. You have to pickup the phone and dial the Ext to check in I guess. I’ve been ringing this line for the last 15 mins and haven’t gotten an answer and I’ve yet to see one soul anywhere around this building. Idk what they have going on here today.

There was a time when there were dairies in practically every small town across the country it was a short trip from the farm to the table back then and most believed this provided a cheaper, fresher therefore better product. Truth is with today's advanced refrigeration technology and high efficient processing equipment the distances have grown further apart while the quality and shelf life of the products are better than ever and the prices in a lot of cases has consistently beaten inflation. I recently had the opportunity to visit this facility to look at some automation, the management team was extremely gracious to provide access and after reading over the plants GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) we donned all the safety equipment for our protection and food safety attire to protect the products including but not limited to disposable smocks and hairnets prior to making our way into the plant under escort. This plant has all the things in place to provide a safe and clean environment for its employees and to ensure the highest quality is upheld throughout the entire process and after speaking with a few of the employees it's evident that this is a great place to work and that HP Hood is a good community partner. Not wanting to disrupt the operation we conducted our business in as short of time as possible and thanked everyone for the opportunity. This facility is a great example of a company doing things the right way and why I for one support them by purchasing the products they produce day in and day out...
