I often go to this UPS store to do returns. The man that seems like the owner is the most unfriendly, unhelpful and nasty man Ibe ever met. Think I’ll go somewhere else from now on

There should be an option for 0 stars! Such a nightmare and bad service.

Workers there acted like they had no hands and had something else to do and hated their lives. Don’t go here unless you want to watch guys do the lazy work huffing and puffing.

I dropped off a package to the UPS store location #2202. The package weighed 71 pounds. I am only 115 pounds, so I had unfortunately had to have my 75 year old Father help me load the package which was a 8000 BTU air conditioner into and out of the car. I then had a trolley with me so I could easily roll it into the store. The Customer Service Representative was exceedingly rude. He was a young white male and he told me I needed to lift up the package and put it on his scale. I complied, picked it up 3 feet, put it on the scale while he watched me struggle. I received a receipt. I was turning to leave the store and this Customer Representative told me I had to move the box off the scale to the front of the store with the other packages waiting to be picked up! I have never in all my years of shipping with UPS been told to do anything with a package once it was receipted. I complained to him, and he just laughed. I picked up the package as best I could put it by the others, effectively hurting my neck and lower back in the process. I then went back and asked to speak with a Supervisor. The two employees said he was not available. I then proceeded to let them know angrily that once they take responsibility for a package and issue a receipt it's their job to put it where they need to, it's not my job. The white male just kept laughing. I said, no UPS store behaves in this manner - he told me to go elsewhere then. I asked the other employee a Asian lady, the name of the white male, she wouldn't give it to me, saying today is his last day anyway. The boy found this hysterical and continued to laugh. I asked her for the managers information, and she gave me a UPS business card, with zero information about the Manager. I had to ask her twice to give me his name, she said Chris Lim, and provided no other information about him. So a couple of issues here, after I was receipted that boy had no right to tell me to move the package to the front of the store. Thats not my responsibility, it's his. Number two, it seemed to be racist as he was helping all the white clients just fine. Number 3 there is no accountability as there is no Manager available. Absolutely abysmal store. There is a UPS store on McLean Ave, Yonkers run by women, and they help people who are struggling as soon as you enter the store. There is a UPS store in High Ridge Plaza on Central Ave, again - as soon as you enter they help when they see your struggling. What a difference a location makes. This one is terrible as all the reviews reflect.

The owner is not concerned with customers getting a fair deal for the services provided. He was rude to me and clearly was mainly just interested in selling me packaging materials that I don’t think I needed. The young polite employee originally told me I would be paying $30-$40 to have a box with a label included that I needed to send to a hotel to get back my favorite pillow that I left in the hotel. The total charge was over $100. Maybe a new pillow would have cost me $80.

I recently visited The UPS Store to return some Amazon items, but unfortunately, I was met with extremely poor customer service. The staff were rude and made me feel like I was doing something wrong by returning items that didn't meet my expectations.
The process was made unnecessarily difficult, and to top it off, their WiFi service was unreliable, making it hard to complete the return process. The older gentleman working there was particularly rude, and the younger staff member seemed to be learning from his behavior.
I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of customer service and would not recommend this location to anyone. Hopefully, they will take steps to improve their staff's attitude and provide a better experience for customers in the future.

If i could give zero stars i would. Tried to return my Amazon packages and the employee was nothing but rude and unhelpful. My package was not taped “well enough” so tried to charge me for a single piece of tape, while the delivery guy who worked for ups picking up packages just helped me close the box. Would never go back ever and would steer clear in the future

A little courtesy and empathy. They should be good to go. Since they are not really part of the UPS company but it seems a "franchise" they do not invest in much in understanding the customer, common courtesy.

Absolutely terrible! I went to drop off a package that needed a box and the older man at the counter tried to charge me $38 for a 33” box! He was incredibly rude and when we asked if we could get a box there he said, with disgust, that it would be $25. I had already prepaid for shipping-this was just for a box. How could a box possibly cost $38?!?! However, the younger people at the store were nice, but the jerk seemed to be the owner. Only use is if you have everything prepaid and do not have to interact with him! I almost feel bad for him- how can someone be so grouchy all the time ?! Maybe someone should bring him some flowers just to see if he knows how to smile .

Terrible service, they force you to print the label and charge you two dollars, if I don't have something to stick the label with, 2 dollars more for a piece of tape to stick the label on, it's abuse, terrible service

The staff and manager at this location are absolutely asinine. I had two separate Amazon returns. They were the same item but in different colors. Both were in boxes and taped, but one item came in an additional larger box which I used to carry the items in store. I was told I needed to put one of the items in the box since that was the box it came in even though the other item was shipped with no additional box and they accepted it as is. I asked why? And the associate had no valid response. He then gets the manager who now says the box they already accepted isn’t taped well enough on the SIDES even though it was sealed well. Then he’s says he will cancel the label if I don’t pay $2 to tape it more and an additional $2 to put the other box inside the larger box and tape it... I’ve never had these type of issues shipping anything. Why was it okay to ship one box as is but not the other when they were the same item!? And ALREADY in brown boxes…The customer service here is horrendous, Go elsewhere.

Terrible. They LOST an urgent overnight. Didn't seem to care. Had to pursue it through UPS Corp but it was never found. Evidence suggests the package never made it out of the store. Just a complete breach of trust.

Those who run store are thieves. They asked for $12 for a simple Amazon return box (0,5’x1’), while UPS gives them for free. Then, they asked for $2 for just closing the box with scotch tape - for just 12” tape length. Avoid them. There are plenty of other fair UPS stores around in similar proximity. Or go prepared with your own box and tape.
