6100 NY-434, Apalachin“Very positive experience!Came here to apply for a passport. Staff were all friendly, helpful, and polite! The employee who was helping me informed me right away that my passport photo from Walgreens was too small, and offered replacement photo services which he took care of himself immediately. He even nicely recommended I could return to Walgreens and they would/should issue a refund (they do, by the way, if you have the receipt; else they provide store credit), and he gave me the extra copy of the passport photo he took so that I could demonstrate to Walgreens that their photos were not the right size. The employee was informative and walked me through signing the application, filling out a money order (this post office allows you to pay all passport associated fees with a debit card, then fill out a money order slip for the $110 state fee), and everything else I needed to painlessly complete the application. It was bustling in the lobby, and the staff were all efficient enough to keep things moving, but conversational enough to be pleasant and avoid making customers feel rushed. I was pleasantly surprised by the great service!”
“I wonder what these Karen’s expect. I retired from working for the Gov. . The post office up here is great; friendly fast service. I think the post office is the only government department that’s in not subsided by you taxes. ( the stamps pay ). Keep up the good work”
“One of the few post offices in the area that are able to move lines in a timely manner. this location of the post office does offer photo copy's per print, stamps, boxes, tape etc. this location is also equipped outside with a letter drop box so you can drive up.”
