Great Country Store! Ed & Candy do an excellent job keeping the beer cold and the food hot. Daily specials and sandwiches are always delicious. If you’re a fisherman/woman they have live bait.

I have been frequenting the Tremperskill Country Store for the past 5 years. The store is run by a couple Ed and Candy. Candy does most of the cooking. Ed likes to work on his motor cycle. He also fixes things around and in the store. The store sells a variety of things that one may need around the home. There is only one table with two chairs where on can eat or work on ones computer.Drop in to eat the food is very good, the atmosphere friendly, the clientele is a mixture of locals from farmers to a large variety of locals and those who want to try the local fare. Come on by you will enjoy your self perhaps even become a local.

Stopped here while on the NEBDR. The lovely lady who owns the place fixed us some sandwiches to take to our campsite. The food was very good, very generous. It did take her a little while to fix 5 sandwiches, so it wasn't a quick stop, but so glad we did. Store too so you can stock up on beverages for the night

This is a great little spot. Owner was super friendly and welcoming. Old school general store with homemade donuts and deli sandwiches.
