I agree with all the NEGATIVE reviews about this corporation! I was employed by them this year I worked at Niskayuna which was amazing , then transferred to Glenville which was also great … then I was tricked and lied to into transferring to the Amsterdam store location and that’s when all the trouble started . They hate “outsiders” the people there have been working together for years and if you’re different from them they dislike you and give you the rudest attitude when asking for assistance since you’re still learning. So the way customers said they get treated rudely by those employees they are correct I have seen it. But nothing happens because they’re the “favorites” of the whole district! A week after I was moved to the Amsterdam store I had a stroke I came close to losing my life but did they care NOT AT ALL! All the manager Joe Said to my wife was well hope returns soon. Upon returning I was made fun of in front of the “manager” very unprofessional especially when he laughed along with the ones laughing at me telling me to “spit it out “ making fun of me bc my speech isn’t the greatest and I still stutter at times. I also got sick and had to go to urgent care the dr took me out of work for three days but I had to go to work against my drs orders and note bc the manager said I’d be written up . They don’t give a damn about their employees at all! Except their favorites! They made the work environment very hostile and uncomfortable to be employed there. I feared going to work especially after a coworker literally admitted that they were trying to get rid of me since the stroke and that all the employees in that location AMSTERDAM STORE SANFORD FARMS RD all felt some type of way against me bc I had a stroke and they had to cancel their vacations bc I had a stroke and was on leave bc of the stroke ! I am currently still searching and interviewing attorneys to take my case ! And should also contact the media as well! They should not get away with how they treat their employees but then again they make their living by lying to and ripping their customers off I know they rip their customers off I can definitely prove it since I did work there. They need to pay for how they treat their employees , the favoritism they show in the company , and how they rip their customer’s off ! They should not be selling mobile phones since they can’t sell insurance so customers have to pay their devices off and get a new device which is a rip off smh there is so so much wrong with this company I’m just sayin

I purchased a brand new Galaxy.S23 Ultra phone and was never offered insurance. Now we have a phone that is useless. And no one will take it and I am only on my second payment.

Went in at about 7pm. Had to unlock a phone for my Cricket SIM. They were very polite and quick. They got the code, put it in, restarted it, and it worked. Thank you, so much. I've been trying to do this for a while. Shoutout to the manager, Joe I believe his name is? Thank you!

My mom went in there this evening 10/7 at 7PM and asked for information about cable and a phone line. She asked if he can write down the details for her to look over and consider. The guy replies with “Yea here’s a pen write it down yourself” I was in shock hearing this. How unprofessional could you possibly be. I understand that it’s almost closing time, actually you have a whole hour left! But there’s certainly other ways to speak to a customer and I’ll tell you that’s not one of them. I don’t know the man’s name. Hopefully Spectrum can train their employees to be more kind to their customers.

I am having a hard time getting my phone connected to their service after having warranty work done on it. My issue is not resolved yet, but Kristen has done a great job so far and helped me get an old device working while they iron this out. Thank you, Kristen!

It NEVER, EVER WANT THEY CLAIM ITS GOING TO COST, YO EXPENSIVE, I DROP DOWN MY MONTHLY BILL FROM $227.00 TO 130.00. THINK OF SWITCHING MY INTERNET AND GET RID IF MY LAND LINE. SOON. SORRY VERY UNHAPPY WITH YOUR COMPANY.

No internet at the camp so I had to come here to drop off the old router and modem and get the new stuff. Everybody from the phone support (particularly Stuart) to the in-store customer service made a frustrating situation about as painless as it can be. The entire team communicates well and expedites your call or case. I really appreciate it. This store has good employees and was running efficiently in the 15 minutes I was there. 5 stars from me all the way! Not easy to find legit help these days. Well done!

Went it on 2 different occasions. The same female salesperson was rude. I was told, by 2 service techs and phone in customer service; that the various answers she gave me, and my friend, were incorrect.

Two out of the four staff at Amsterdam should be fired. They're extremely rude and have no patience. You need to train them no wonder what is turning in their cable box.

The home button on my old iPhone broke a few days before payday. Definitely an inconvenience. I went to the store and was met by excellent customer service. Krystal was patient and friendly while she set me up with a new iPhone on a monthly payment plan. The rest of the staff were very friendly. Shout out to the manager that finally got my ID to scan properly! (The new licenses give them a hard time). I will definitely be going to this store for all of my future needs. Thanks again, Krystal.

Cable, internet, WiFi are overpriced and don't deliver quality their ads claim. I have to constantly reset the cable boxes. WiFi continuously drops phone calls. If it wasn't included in my very expensive rent, it wouldn't be allowed in my apartment.

Some of the worst customer service i have ever recieved. Called regarding extremely slow internet. The rep put me on hold for a half hour to reset the modem. When she picked up again and I mentioned was everything alright and why it took so long she put me on hold with no comment for total hour now and counting.
