My wife and I went to the store a few days ago to purchase new phones and have them turned on with Spectrum. Our old phones were also with Spectrum Mobile. Lydia was very helpful and got everything done for us.

I am calling the Attorney General office..for SPECTRUM cable accidently shut my cable off first of all..when it was turned back on the rep decided to add things onto my acct without my authority..i have been calling since May to have ALL services removed except internet ..rep tells me 107.00 is the lowest for my bill..cause they were trying to tell me I needed streaming TV for 31.99..if you have a smart TV you DO NOT NEED THIS ..check your bills..so finally I got 69.99 plus tax..now they say i owe close to 400.00..every time I call something is added that I did not ask for ..I spoke with two reps that seen and noted the mistakes and put in for a credit ..sane day I get a text with a disconnect..for the supervisor denied the credit ..how is it that the agents are smarter then the supervisors...who runs a company so badly managed..

The most unwelcome i have ever felt walking into a place. After 10 mins of standing at the counter and not ONE of the handful employees standing around could even acknowledged my existence i left. I had already been left on hold on the phone for 39 minutes before i hung up and went to the store. Another complete waste of my time. I am going in to cancel my account today because now after all this you want to add an extra charge to my account when i have been unable to get any help for days.

I purchased a new phone from Spectrum a couple of months ago at the Amsterdam New York store and have been trying to get my old phone which I also purchased from them unlock. I was given the runaround for weeks and finally I went back to the Amsterdam store and spoke to Alyssa Orengo who went above and beyond to make sure that my phone got unlocked. She provided us with the best customer service. This review is specifically for Alyssa because not everyone there is as helpful and polite as she is. Thank you Alyssa

Just had the best experience at Spectrum. Alyssa came through again. She always is smiling and so friendly. Great customer service. She got my son Alex’s new iPhone going in 10 minutes. I don’t understand how Spectrum can get a bad wrap when this lady behind the counter is so knowledgeable & helpful. Honestly I have never had a bad experience when I come here. Lydia is aways helpful and knowledgeable. Joe is the best too.
Alyssa if you read this a heartfelt Thank you for all you do. Spectrum you need more like this lady.

This is one of the most bizarre experiences I've ever had walking into a brick and mortar store. A prime example of why people would rather do their business online than go deal with rude or uninterested workers. It's was Wednesday May 8th 630 pm when I walked into this store because my phone screen was smashed and I was intending on paying it off and getting a new one.Long story short they took my payment for the old device and began activating the second one. Shortly after they informed me all 3 of my cards were being declined and I had to contact my bank even though they just charged one of them. There was still 40 mins left of opening time but instead of trying to problem solve they just took the phone and retreated to the back room rushing to leave it seems. At first I thought well maybe what they said is correct so i called my banks. However after walking into another store a day later I noticed the person went through a lot more steps before even taking my payment and in fact they had to alter my first name to match my ID as well as scan the phone before even touching my card. The rude rep I dealt with at this store did none of that and what I think happened is they couldn't get my ID to verify so rather than figuring out why they just pretended to run my cards and told me they were all declined. Which was bull because I walked out and pumped gas from one of three cards I tried. All in all I very nearly ditched spectrum and if it wasn't for the rep at the Dewitt NY store I would have. Avoid this Amsterdam location if you want actual honest service. They all but kicked me out of the store when they had no other customers in there and they had 40 mins of open time. I missed a day of work and had to get a more expensive phone because of their ineptitude the Dewitt location was out of stock of what I wanted. If I could rate 0 would.

Even though the place was very busy, as I waited for my turn I saw the service rep's were thorough and patient with the customers. As a walk in to drop off equipment,I didn't have to wait too long, however next time I am definitely going to make an appointment.

I went into the store today to get iPhones for my two sons.Alyssa Was my sales specialist? I highly recommend her. She was knowledgeable and very smart and accommodating. If you ever have to use the store, I recommend using her. She gave me her business card in case I had any problems.highly recommend .
