lack of interest in helping me... I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the check engine light came on and I went to do a scan at autozone and the code it said was that I had to buy a small part and install it, since I'm not a mechanic I went to the Sikorkis establishment and when I arrived the employees saw me enter the reception area and they didn't even say anything to me and they left me waiting for 10 minutes and then one of the white male employees with a beard, about 40 years old, arrived and told me that without The boss can't take care of me and I told him to come back in a week that it's fine but I felt that it was a lack of interest in repairing my jeep, which although I'm not a mechanic, it's not something very complicated.

Super friendly, professional and fast. My car had been giving me problems of power and engine start. I had the battery changed and I had it checked by other mechanics but they couldn't find the problem. Sikorskis were able to find and fix the problem and now car starts perfectly ?Jim explained what had happened and I really appreciate their interest and concern. I also liked that they let me drop off the car at night and pick it up after work. Their prices are very fair. Thank you so much ?

Places like this don't exist anymore. Jim is a pleasure to do business with. Honest and hard working with a great attitude. Pricing is spot on and very through with explaining and diagnosing issues. Will definitely be back.

This place has been an Amsterdam institution since the 40's. Up until recently it was a family owned business, but the last Sikorski decided to retire and the business was purchased by a long time employee, Jim Looman.
The level of customer service is outstanding. Jim always gives me a fair estimate and price and does his best to fit you in if you are in a bind, but he is very busy so if would call ahead and make an appointment whenever possible
It is a small shop with no waiting areas so make sure that you have some alternate transportation if you are going to have some work done.

I've only been here a handful of times myself but those times I have it's been great! I have yet to learn the guy's name or anyone else who works there (and I didn't think to look before I started typing this as I'm pretty sure it's in these reviews somewhere) but he's very respectable and always kind. My go-to garage in the area.
