Amsterdam location is great! Overall clean and a comfortable environment to exercise in. The staff is great, friendly and welcoming, Jerrell is always very helpful and greets with a smile every single time, my guy doesn’t miss a beat! The rest of the staff is good to me too! 10/10 would recommend!

The gym is clean and the staff is very nice but the front windows do not have any tint on them and the sun reflects off of the windows from the cars outside and blinds you while you're trying to use the equipment and is especially dangerous while youre' on the stair master and blinds you so much that you cannot see the steps and I have almost fallen off multiple times because of this issue.

In Amsterdam planet fitness always seems to be very clean in the locker room area and in the bathroom .Staff seems to be very nice and always around. finally, there is actually a scale in the girls bathroom I know at one point they did not have it so glad to see one finally there machinery’s always seems to be very clean as well..

I loved it. The building was always clean and sanitary including bathrooms. Several lockers are provided along with a spot for a look on them. Good quality showers along with hair dryers, and more than one spot to check on yourself. The equipment was not always in complete working order but was still very helpful to someone like me who needs assisted weights. Separate sanitation stations are also set in spots so you can clean off equipment before and after use. Free Wi-Fi as well. Staff was always very nice.

Whose idea was it to put 5 blaring lights above hydromassage #9? Get rid of them.. I had to cover my eyes the entire time. Most PFs have the hydromassage massage in the dark lit "relaxation zone". This is stupid.Also no changing area in shower/locker area.Shower heads are nice.Gym is spacious.No kiosk to sign in for blackcard stuff.

One if the cleanest gyms around. Friendly staff. Spray and towels always full and never have to wait for a bed to be cleaned!

My daughter and I wanted to sign up for a year in advance. I was going to pay Cash. I was told no. I was told they have to have my checking account. I asked how about a credit card. With cards, I am told they have problems with people's cards declining when the date is up. To me that is nothing more than a quick phone call to ask IF, the person wants to sign up again and if so, get the new date. It also tells me that they keep your card number to recharge without your approval. With cash, they cannot charge you with out your knowledge. I am assuming that is why they are refusing cash. Even the YMCA takes cash. I was told that I could not join paying with cash for a year upfront, nor a card. Only my checking account. It appears to me that Planet Fitness has all the customers they need and are not interested in new folks, only automatic payments at the end of your membership each year. Sad.

Hydro massage was brokenI spoke to manager.Initially the speed didn't work but then while I was laying there it froze mid back and wouldn't proceed.

Love the gym and the employees are great, but I dont want to wait 10+ minutes to get checked in for tanning in the morning when I’m on a time crunch
