Was broke down today outside of town blew a bypass hose from water pump. Called Amsterdam store and he had the parts I needed and delivered them to me on the side of the road as I tried to resolve the problem myself because roadside service was going to be hours and more expensive than I wanted to pay. Then I lost one of the bolts and he came out a second time to try and help me. You will never find service like this place anywhere else!!

Can't say enough nice things about Matt at Carquest Auto Parts - Amsterdam. We arrived in the lot three minutes before closing time with no idea why both our brake lights had gone out (thanks to the kind stranger who ran up to us at a red light to let us know). He stayed half an hour after closing time to diagnose and fix the problem, and was so incredibly nice about the entire thing.
