Shining Star is an amazing Auto Body shop! The entire staff is wonderful especially Paula and Frank. They took excellent care of me and my car from start to finish. Handled everything for me from a rental to my insurance concerns. I will always recommend them to my friends and family and forever be grateful to them!!!

What an amazing staff !!! Not only did they take care of the car rental for my mother and set everything up quickly, they also kept my in the loop about the car and how long it would take . Not not to mention the amazing work they did on the car ..it looks brand new !! Highly recommend to anyone who needs quality and fast auto body work ?

I brought my car to Shining Star after I was in an accident. They got the car repaired quickly, and you can’t even tell the car was ever hit. They do great work. Very communicative and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely use them again.

Shining Star Collision truly lives up to its name as a shining star in the world of auto repairs. From start to finish, my experience with them was nothing short of exceptional.
The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and informed throughout the repair process. Their communication was top-notch, keeping me updated on the progress of my vehicle. This level of transparency and engagement truly sets them apart from other repair shops.
In addition to their excellent customer service, Shining Star Collision impressed with their speed and efficiency. They completed my repair in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
My personal experience with Shining Star Collision was overwhelmingly positive. As a woman, finding an auto repair shop where I feel respected and not taken advantage of can be a challenge, but Shining Star Collision exceeded my expectations. In addition, I witnessed the staff going above and beyond to assist an elderly customer who was in need of extra help. Their patience and kindness in that situation further solidified my positive opinion of them. They exceeded my expectations and made a potentially stressful situation incredibly smooth and hassle-free.
They have truly set the bar high for auto repair shops, and I would not hesitate to entrust them with my vehicle again in the future.

If I could give Shining Star Collision 10 stars I would. Every employee I met immediately made me feel like they were old friends. Every single step of my vehicle's repair was absolutely perfect...from the estimate, turnaround time and the final finished product. I could not be happier.

This company works with dealers only. I have not had a good experience with shining star collision. They were contracted to fix a known defect in my Hyundai peeling paint. Not only did they not do the job nor complete the job. They took my front windshield and my back windshield off and cannot prove to me that they are OEM. They sent to the president of Hyundai’s office a hand written invoice to let me know that both windshields are OEM. Shady shoddy work at best. Mind you that I was informed multiple times that they did get paid in full to do a job. My car has four shades of white since they never blended any of the colors together. They had my car two different times my car came back 50+ miles on it. The dealership is 18 miles round-trip at best. The inside of my car was filthy. Somebody was joy riding. They never fixed or dressed any of the issues they tried to cover it up and Zaba little paint on peeling paint. My car is a mess and now I’m stuck with this and nobody from the Hyundai dealership nor the presidents office of Hyundai nor shining star collision were all up to this issue be warned. The photo I posted is a picture I took the other day which is the summer of 2023. Shining star collision had my car in the winter at the end of January February 2023. If I can give zero stars I would.
4/1/24. If you experience the fraud, you would not believe rave reviews. Be warned. I lost money selling the car after the horrible appearance of their work.

Someone hit my brand new Genesis gv80 while parked. Luckily there was a witness. On recommendation from dealership, we brought the car to Shining Star Collision in Amityville. Frank and his staff took care of everything, including car rental. He keptbus informed on what had to be done. He was very knowledgeable, as well as his staff. His receptionist was also very nice and patient when I called. You cannot tell where the damage was! Thank-you to Frank and his entire staff.

My 2018 Hyundai Elantra had a Peeling paint issue. So, through Hyundai warranty I was to have my car paint removed and repainted. When I received my car back at the local dealership from shining star collision, Auto Body, there were multiple issues with the paint job that shining star collision was paid in full for. The hood had over 20 areas of fisheye. They failed to paint the area areas around the back windshield. My front fender to This day has never been addressed or painted under the warranty as directed but shining star did receive payment for this. The roof was never tended to properly, and they tried to dab a little paint on, and they got paint all over the rubber around the windshield. The whole piece above the door that goes back to the back fender was never stripped and repainted . The issues are endless and now Hyundai motor company will not support the claim. It will not allow me to have my car repainted properly and blended in properly so I have one color and shade of white paint on my car. Shining star collision, took it upon themselves to dab a little paint over the peeling paint issue. They took the car back a second time in order to fix and repair what they had messed up in the first place. Shining star collision was paid in full by Hyundai motor company to fulfill the warranty on the peeling paint issue. Peeling pint is a known defect in Hyundai cars. I get my car back to second time they replace my front windshield of my back windshield, claiming that both of them broke up on Removal. I asked her original paperwork. It was never furnish the original paperwork. I was given an hand written estimate by shining star collision that had some numbers crossed out. Stay far away from this horrible collision place. Unfortunately, shining star collision has several shops around the island and Hyundai does use the shops to deal with their known defective pain issues. Be warned. This collision shop only takes jobs from dealerships. I would say that their business practice is pretty shoddy at best. My car has four different shades of white on it since it was never blended correctly by shining star. Not either one or two times that shining star collision did have my vehicle. They take zero pride in their work. It does appear that they fortunately collecting money for job they at best half way attempted. I have had other windshield removed and replaced in my driveway with no issue but somehow they were able to break the front and the back during this whole fiasco. Due to shining star collision not opening up and fixing their actual work. I am now at a loss and I'm driving around in a car that has multiple shades of white and nobody from shining star collision was able to prove to me that my front and back windshield are OEM. Shining star is in possession of my car early of 2023. You'll see attached to this review I left a a photo from the summer of 2023. A current photo at time of posting. UPDATE 8/31/23 The way the back windshield on drivers side looks as of today- they claim this pet was reported and were fully paid to repair it by Hyundai.

100% A+++++ professional courteous and helpful. They provided detailed information about how my car was going to be repaired. They quickly helped coordinating with my insurance company and obtaining a rental vehicle. Completely hassel free experience. If you need auto body repair done call them.
