Local move took an extremely long time and the bill was nearly 75% above estimate. All was disclosed to them before-hand. I knew one item ended up being very difficult to move, so expected that we'd have to pay more - but not that much more. Their estimate was way off and they blamed me. They said it should have been a 4-person job and the responsibility was for me to complain during the move. I'm not the moving professional.
Said we weren't packed and the movers had to wait (only things we packed when movers were there was bedding that had been slept on, couch pillows, and a few items under the bathroom sink). When I asked what specifically wasn't packed, they couldn't tell me. They also accused me of trying to cheat them and not pay (would never do that). Though the movers were lovely, it seemed that we got 1 experienced mover and 2 who seemed quite inexperienced.
Full disclosure - they did give me $200 off the final bill, but the bill was still $1300 more than estimated. I feel horrible that I chose them, as the move was for my elderly mother. I should have paid more attention to the other 1-star reviews.

I had a wonderful experience with every person i came into contact with. First Marlon was wonderful in explaining everything to me and even though i was on a time crunch, he said we could get this move done within my timeframe. Then I spoke with Diane and I liked her straight off the bat. She kept me in the loop and worked hard on getting my stuff cross country. But the people who set my mind at ease completely were John and Paulo. When I realized that they were going to be the ones loading and unloading my belongings I knew everything was going to be ok. I will 100 percent be referring them to anyone who needs moving services. I, on the other hand am staying put for a while. Thank you so much for making this cross country move just a little easier on me.

After finding 3 companies on BBB with an A+ rating, I chose Maffucci and am so glad I did. It was such a great experience from start to finish. The movers were so careful and professional with our belongings. I would absolutely recommend and use them again for our next move.

This company is so unprofessional and dishonest!! They keep changing their freaking policy for rental fees and cards all they do is BATE AND SWITCH AND charge whatever they want!! EXTREMELY DISHONEST

I used Maffucci’s web site to request a quote and received a timely follow up call from Tamika. She was the first person I spoke with this morning, and it was such an unexpectedly nice way to start the day. Though my requested move date was not available, Tamika was still very informative and worked to put together a quote for me anyway so that I could be informed as I explored other options. Tamika was so easy to converse with and was transparent and upfront and offered genuine well wishes for my upcoming move. A friend of a friend had recommended Maffucci to me, and I would not hesitate to reach out in the future for their services on the strength of my first contact with Tamika. (And best wishes to everyone reading this with an upcoming move!)

Totally profession moving service. Their estimate for our move was spot on! Their representatives communicated with us at every step. Mover arrived on time and packed our belongings with care. Delivery was also on time and efficient.

Maffucci moving was recommended to us and it all went so smoothly! We were moving family and packing up an apt in NYC so it was slightly complicated as we needed to do some of the arrangements remotely. I couldn't recommend Maffucci Moving more after having such an incredible experience with them! I had a unique challenge that involved almost losing some possessions that had deep sentimental value. They invested so much time compassionately communicating with me and helping me find a solution. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. It's very unusual to be treated like family by a company you have no prior connection with. In the future, I will write a blog post and share the entire story, because it will bring some hope and inspiration to a world in need of such. For today, I just want to say thank you, especially to Paul Levine and Kisha Kearney. You have no idea how much your kindness and support meant to me, and my gratitude is truly immeasurable.
