You don't have to bring your car to the dealer bring it here. I'm a new customer & they fixed my car in one day. Susan is always communicating and keeping you updated on the status of your car. I was in the jam I urgently needed repairs & they helped me out a stranger! They do excellent work. Car runs like a dream, don't think twice about bringing your car here. The bad reviews are from miserable people. Words can't express how happy I am to get my car back. Give them the business Satisfaction Guaranteed!

I have been going to German Auto repair for 35 years . Ken Raab has been my " GO TO PERSON " for all of my cars needs ! I began to collect Porsche's 40 years ago . I have used most of the local Porsche dealers and for the most part DISSATISFIED ! When I was recommended to Kenny , he was working out of his garage in Massapequa. That was many years ago , and I continue to enjoy seeing Ken and Susan on a regular basis . They are accommodating, knowledgable , talented, efficient, and reasonably priced . I brought my car for a routine B service that my mercedes dashboard said I was due for. I made an appointment and had a drop off time. The owner's wife ( sorry I should have asked your name) greeted me with a smile and with kindness. I told what the car was due for and she knew exactly what I was talking about. I went to the park diner and had breakfast and from there went to the local library to read and go on my ipad. About 1 and 1/2 hours later got a call that the car was done. Went back and Was greeted again by Toby the owner's dog,a handsome white dog. Just as friendly as the owners. This shop is reliable and had reasonable prices. I will definitely be using them again. So happy to find a good mechanic.

The only place you should take your German automobile. I have been taking my Porsche and BMW to German Auto Repair Technicians for several years now and I would never go anywhere else. I only wish I knew about them sooner. Susan is hands on and always explains everything that Ken needs to do to repair your car. Ken treats your car like his own, going over the entire car and making sure everything is taken care of. Better service than a dealership without the high prices.Services: General repairs & maintenance

German Auto Repair is our go to repair shop for our Porsche vehicles. Ken is great at diagnosing any difficulties and making repairs quickly and efficiently. Susan always finds time to schedule our maintenance and repairs in a timely manner. She also keeps us informed throughout the day on our vehicles progress. They are absolutely wonderful to deal with. I live in New York City and I have been going to German Auto Repair Technicians for some 20 years. First, for my VW Jetta which Ken, the owner and a Certified Porsche Technician had serviced for some 205,000 miles until we sold it. Ken kept it running perfectly for all those years. Currently, my 2006 Porsche Carrera has been under Ken's watchful eye and will soon reach 75,000 miles. Except for one really complicated issue which Ken recently diagnosed and repaired to exacting Porsche standards, (I mean it is a Porsche) the car runs perfectly. If you have a Porsche or other German car, you might want to call Susan (the office manager) and make an appointment. ( think he's gonna fix your Chevrolet ! ) Great work and great service.
