I’ve been meaning to write this. I have been a customer here for years and typically only visit the location on the Blvd. I was lucky to have stopped by this location, to have been met with a familiar face named Sofia. The service she provided was superb. Of course I was in because my son broke his glasses. She had full knowledge of the inventory and knew there was an exact pair in the back. She was able to recruit the other associate to assist me while she greeted other customers. This is certainly my new favorite location as the selection and customer service is the best!

This is got to be the worst decision you could make going here the service is absolutely horrible I've waited a full month for my glasses and they're still not ready I don't believe they can perform the task you need them to go anywhere else.

I've been going to Sterling Optical for several years now to get my glasses and prescription filled and had been happy with their services up until now. I went to them back on December 27, 2022 for an eye exam and new glasses and it's been over three weeks now and counting and I still have not received them. I called the day before yesterday and spoke to Emily and was told that part of the order was in but the other part, was not. She said that she would call them to see what the status of them were and then call me back and I have heard nothing from her since. They have reduced business hours at this location and I don't know if they are having a labor shortage or what, but as a customer I feel that efficient service and open and dedicated communication goes a long way to keeping customers that you do business with. I was also told when I called to make that appointment with them that I wanted to be billed and have it on my insurance for the 2022 calendar year so if I need to get another prescription and glasses that would be covered for 2023 that there would be no problem. So far I'm thinking now that what I was told will not come to pass. Call me hopeful but very disappointed ....

Update: Unfortunately had to change my review. I called to check on my daughters order since they didn’t call when they said they would. They have no record of our order. No knowledge of our visit or the order for the frames we selected. None. My daughter is super excited to get her first pair of glasses and we’ll have to start from square one if this isn’t figured out. This is absolutely ridiculous. Said they would get a manager to call back and have heard nothing for hours. I will update if this is resolved.Original review: We decided to go here to pick out frames for our daughter after we found out our insurance wouldn’t cover frames at Atwal AFTER having her eye test done. But that’s a story for another review. The employees at this location were super welcoming and got us set up quickly. We were in and out quickly without feeling rushed. Would definitely recommend this location! Very friendly service!

They called me said my glasses were ready and they weren't ready made three trips for my glasses the exam was excellent but the customer service is awful the gasses had a loose arm which had to be tightened and the trip is almost a hour there and back. I will never go back to this location again I spent more time, gas and money than it was worth. The first time i went there they were closed also

Great store! The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I went in and they made me feel like family. I was there for less than 20 mins! I would highly recommend Sterling Optical on transit road.

I have nothing positive to say about this establishment. Buyer beware. It has been over a month since I ordered my glasses and I STILL don't have them. Customer service is terrible. I was never called when my glasses were ready. When I spoke to one gentleman, he said he would call me right back and never did. I'm still waiting. Their posted hours on their website differ from the "covid hours" on their voicemail, which are different than what the store is ACTUALLY opened. It's frustrating. After my experience, I can not, in good conscious, recommend this place to anyone.

Got glasses from here in Jan of 2019 got them pretty quickly but about after a 2 or maybe 3 months after having my glasses the arm on the glasses started to bend and become loose went in to have them repaired had to go in A couple times after about the third time I went in to have them repaired for the same issue the person that works there told me that they will probably eventually break didn't even seem to act like it wasn't normal just seemed like it was a normal thing I did ask her what will happen if they do break and she told me they will replace them guess they keep the really crappy quality frames for people who are using insurance to pay for them because that's what they are crap they finally did break in Dec of 2020 shouldn't happen after only a year (and yes I do take care of them and keep them in the case when I'm not wearing them) they broke on a Sunday so I had to go to LensCrafters (another place I will never get glasses from again) to get them repaired because Sterling optical is closed Sundays LensCrafters said they were broken but could temporarily repair them and not to fold the the arms in or it will come off again so on Monday I called sterling they said I had them to long and they will not replace them which when I went in to have them repair for like the 3rd time the woman that work there told me they would replace them if they did break guess she was lying I will not return will go elsewhere for my glasses now 2 places that I will never get glasses from againk LensCrafters and Sterling optical

I have been going to this location for years. Always friendly and helpful staff, and the opticians are super professional. I would recommend them to anyone who wears glasses or contacts, or thinks they might need them! I also appreciate that they are knowledgeable about insurance companies, so when I have insurance that covers one thing and a Groupon that covers something else, they always know how to get the most bang for my buck. Much appreciated for someone who needs glasses, contacts, and prescription sun glasses!

Thank you to the entire staff and Dr. Honeyman for making my experience with my eye exam so amazing!! Jocelyn was very knowledgeable as well as her colleagues. Everyone was so kind and treated me like family!! I will definitely recommend you to everyone!!
