Sales department has always been great! The service department is a nightmare to deal with, everytime I bring my car in for appointments usually early morning my car is never done until 5 or 6 at night. Today’s visit was no different except I dropped my car off at 6:00 pm last night for a 7:30am appointment. I asked to try and have my car back at 3:00pm. Around 3:00pm I got a notification through my Mazda app of the critical malfunction(the reason I brought my car in other than normal service), meaning that my vehicle was just being started at 3:00pm when I asked to have it back from a 7:30am appointment. This prompted my call to the service department where I believe Jess wasn’t exactly friendly but not entirely unfriendly said she just came in at 3pm and informed me that it was 10 after 3 and she apologizes for not calling at 3 which wasn’t my issue at all my issue is that my vehicle had just been started at 3pm for a 7:30am appointment and the vehicle was left overnight. I’m not real happy and feel as though this is a regular occurrence so even if I wanted to have my vehicle serviced there I don’t have 3 weeks to wait for appointments nor full days to be told I need brakes when I call upset over time and an hour later still no call that my oil change is done

Loved that they shared with us a video of where they were working on our Mazda! Felt like they could have worked on keeping us updated better as we were waiting but also loved that they worked with us on alternative repairs when we couldn't afford the full job.

There was a delay entering the garage because somebody was there putting air in all the tires, seemed not to be an appropriate location. All I needed was an inspection and it was done ins timely manner.

Did they design the seats in Mazdas to swallow whatever falls into the sides of the seats. I mean I don't think a raccoon could fit his hand down there, much less a humanoid

I recently purchased a Mazda cx9 from Northtown Mazda. After much research , I found Northtown to have more options for me. I also found that working with Brenton Smith gave me a calming experience. He was prompt at answering any questions I had and if he didn’t know the answer he’d go find out. He worked with me to find the best financial deal. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend family and friends to shop there

Update under the first good review...
Kali and Stephanie were amazing! No pressure at all with Kali and I felt very relaxed. Very kind and patient helping me choose just the right vehicle! I love my new CX5! Everyone else who assisted was also very kind and helpful. Thank you to everyone at Northtown Mazda with my first ever brand new vehicle!!!
Update- not so good after sale. No complaints with the buying process and sales reps. HOWEVER, a few weeks in started having issues. Took it in for service spending 4 hours travel time back and forth. They are "unable to duplicate problems." Super sensitive finish!!!! Infuriatingly, I scratched my car about an inch. Cannot fathom how it happened. Quoted me $2,600 to fix...though no one told me. Just got a text that my car was ready for pick up. Nothing had been fixed. I asked service about the scratch, they said "that's collision we have nothing to do with them" called collision who said " we don't call you, we gave the quote to service to go over with you." I did find it stapled to the end of my several page service overview. I was mad, it got heated. I expected someone to reach out the next day knowing I was upset and thinking they would want their new car owner to be happy. Nothing... 2 months in with at least 3 mechanical problems and a scratch I can't afford to fix. I've been super careful with this vehicle and there are other scuffs already. Idk about other colors, but don't get a red Mazda. Paint is like butter and depreciating in value every time I drive it. Then I get an email about how their service team is dedicated to providing excellent service. So upset and truly regretting my purchase.

Do not buy here! I gave a down payment to buy a car, they didn't have the vehicle ready and I had to go out of town for work. When I returned to "pick up my car" they told me they had already sold it. Brenton, the sales guy, never informed me of anything, never responded to messages or calls. I called many times to get my down payment back, a month went by and they did not return it to me. I had to file a report on my credit card because these thieves did not return my money back. Go to another dealership away from them! ??

Brenton was very knowledgeable and our experience was phenomenal. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and I’m very pleased. I’m so excited to start my new chapter with this Mazda CX-5.
