Do NOT use M&T Bank!!! My 97 year old WWII veteran father has been a loyal customer for decades. His bank card was recently stolen and the thief took $20K!!! No M&T claims that they won't replace the $ because every transaction was considered "authorized" due to the fact that it used his debit card. M&T did NOTHING to secure his account and never shut it down when the system saw unauthorized transactions! Now my 96 yr old dad on a fixed income is out $20K! If he didn't have another account, he'd be on the streets!!! These people are the worst!!! Never use M&T Bank!

Wouldn't even give them one star. Untrained staff, long wait time, out of service atms (both atms). Waited an hour, only for the staff to tell me that they'd charge me $50 fee for closing an account. Insane bank, 10/10 would recommend an online bank over this.

This branch is very very slow with service, I don't think they appreciate their customers. We appreciate quick efficient service. Are they closing this branch? Drive through was extremely slow now its hardly open.

The drive thru is rarely open now. There is usually only 2 tellers working no matter what time I go in. No longer have a business teller line and wait is usually longer than we should have to wait. I understand staffing is tough these days but hopefully things improve soon because there is no benefit to having our business accounts here anymore.

I had an appointment for 4:45 p.m. on a Friday with Joe Hatch. Sat down and waited from 4:44 p.m. until I got up and left at 5:15 p.m. Mr. Hatch was on the phone the entire time that I sat there!! His co-worker came over and asked me if I had an appointment which I said that I did and told me that she would tell him that I was waiting for him. Never will I ever use this bank location again. Nice to know that a phone call is more important than it in person visit with a schedule appointment.

The Blvd mall location is the worst!! It is always understaffed and turnover is high. You will wait forever in the drive thru and going inside is no better. Customer service is poor at this location especially the employee at the customer service desk.

If you ever have to deal with these folks on the phone, the experience is unpleasant. They keep asking you information to verify the account even after a thorough verification. The website is wonky and not great. In short, I'd find another bank if it is possible. They get two stars because I didn't have to deal with them very often.

Tellers make you wait an inordinate amount of time while they hold personal conversations with others.
