We have always purchased carpet at Kenny Carpet on Sheridan Dr in Amherst NY. As always we are very happy with our purchase. Trevor, our salesman was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Their driver, Anthony, delivered our carpet today and continued the same efficient and courteous manner that Kenny is known for..tell Anthony 5 stars to you sir! Thank you Kenny

Horrible. Trevor has to be the most dismissive sale person, arrives late or not at all. First he shows up and hour late for measurements, he sets a date for installation then cancels the day of because the carpet i picked out was out of stock(how that happened is beyond me i placed an order and paid)! 4 weeks later he sends some sketchy dudes to install my carpet, they beat the heck out of the second floor so much we have had cracks from in the walls and ceiling, popping nails from the brute force they used. Bowing window and door borders, broken ceiling fan that was never replaced. When they had to clean up... you guessed it, they asked for my regular oreck vacuum to pick up mess that could only be picked up with a commercial vac. I should have kicked out the installers when pictures fell off the walls from all the slamming. No professional behavior at all. It's crazy that Trevor or any kenny carpets sales person wouldn't think to be supervising the contractors they hire, no foreman to make sure things are done right? Wild. Spen your money elsewhere. This business does business, rude and without respect. Hired my own people to fix what needed fixing, I wouldn't let anyone in my home from this place ever again.

Best place for remnants for me!!! I have 6 dogs and a doggie door!!!!! Thank you Gene for always helping me find remnants for my dogs.

From the beginning, working with Trevor to the installers was a great experience! Trevor was so helpful and patient with me making my decision. The crew installers did a fantastic job with perfection and swept and cleaned up! My floor is beautiful!

Kenny Carpet is the best! The salesman Eric was exceptional. He provided professional assistance. Sean and Joel did the installation and they were fantastic…fast and respectful of the property. My family has used Kenny Carpet exclusively for years and I will continue to do the same and recommend them.

Fine job installing the carpet as long as you don't mind things being stolen from your house!! Make sure you have someone there to keep an eye on your stuff!!

So far they are completely horrible. They sent 1 guy to move huge furniture. They are now coming 4 days later. No type of refund or regret for messing up.

The installer was great & the floors look wonderful. But this was a customer service nightmare. It took over 30 phone calls to get this job done. They misplaced my measurements, then the person who was to measure again changed the date last second, then no showed on the reschedule date. Half the time you call the person who answers can't help you with what you need and you have to wait for a call back which may or may not happen. Everyone was very nice, but this place is so unorganized. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Kenny Carpets was recommended to us for a living room carpet tear-out and new carpet installation. Gene was great to work with! I also stopped in at the Amherst location to look at a few different samples and the sales staff was friendly and accommodating. I was able to take home a book of carpet samples which was very helpful in our decision-making process. Kenny Carpets was able to work around my schedule and was able to accommodate a morning installation. I received a phone call the day before, and day of confirming my install date/time and notifying me of their upcoming arrival. The installers were efficient, pleasant, and tidy. I appreciate all of the employees at Kenny and would definitely recommend this company to friends and family :)

The whole experience was incredibly smooth. Scott listened to what we wanted and was able to help us narrow down options. Admittedly, we went in with a specific idea... But we are first time homeowners and knew nothing about flooring. Thankfully Scott was able to share his knowledge with us and we truly feel like we made the best decision for our needs and our future.We set the delivery date and had no issues with Kenny carpets delivering and installing on the previously identified date. They called us about half an hour before they intended to arrive. Such smooth communication and the installers even made sure to put the garbage where we requested. Other than the beautiful product and wonderful install, you would never know that we recently had workers in our house... They left everything so clean :-)Thank you for making this process smoother than I could have imagined!

I had Kenny carpets come out and install carpeting in my upstairs and my stairwell. There was a mistake on the amount of carpeting needed to do my stairwell. It took them a while but they got it right. Thanks to Gene who was phenomenal in getting it all wrapped up. Would recommend them.

UPDATE - I received a call this morning from ownership, and they handled the situation professionally and appropriately. Honesty in reporting an experience is important, so I have to give them credit where credit it is due, thank you.If I could give this experience a 0 I would. I booked a simple job that ended up costing me 3 mornings of work with not even an offer to comp or refund some of my money. The first installer showed up 3 hours late and under the influence of something. Threw up in my lawn, then after I gave a pass on both of those mess ups AND brought him water from my house, he then laid down on the carpet in the street "sick". A few minutes later he attempted to carry the rug down my driveway but began dry heaving and threw up again. At that point I asked him to leave my house and called the store to schedule a new install. On his way out, the installer tried telling me he was sick from the COVID vaccine but NOT TO TELL HIS EMPLOYER then called me personally 2 times over that weekend (I didn't answer). The new install came a week later. When the new installer showed up and started to get to work he noticed the previous installer cut the rug a) against the grain and b) the wrong direction off the roll, so it wasn't going to fit for the job. He then called the store to work out a third install date. That date came about 10 days later since they had to order a new roll. The same second installer showed up and was able to complete the job in 2.5 hours. When I called the store not only was I not offered to take of the payment for the installation charge (something the store and the installer should work out between them not me) I was made to feel bad from the manager because HE had to order it locally and would cost HIM more versus the national warehouse. I asked the store to reimburse me for the install, and was told "we completed the job" and offered a "small area rug" instead. I have never had a more unprofessional experience in my life let alone the complete disregard for lost vacation time from work (what equated to 8 hours as opposed to the 3 it would have taken day one). FIND ANOTHER RUG COMPANY! On a positive note I will say the second installer was great and very understanding. It was even he who said "you better get something off of this for all the BS you've been through".

Eric and his team are beyond exceptional. They have on numerous occasions gone above and beyond for us and I highly highly highly recommend hiring them for your next flooring project!!

Wonderful job that these two men did today! I feel bad cuz I didn't get there name's, but they where very polite and very well mannered! Must I add they did an amazing job on my rugs ! I would give them more star's if I could! I highly recommend Kenny carpets and flooring!
