This review is for the online customer service, escalation managers and wire department. These are by far the worst, dysfunctional and most useless service in any bank that I dealt with in the last 30 years. Please beware before you send any amount of money with them. The local branch personnel are very good but have no influence or help over the online service. BEWARE, BEWARE.

Popped in for a visit in October 2023. The gentleman seated at the front desk (Caucasian, shaved head, looked to be late (?) 30s) was exceptionally friendly, greeted me upon my arrival as I made my way to the ATM (insert your card horizontally!), and made appropriate small talk when I approached him to talk about how responsive (and fabulous!) my HSBC USA relationship manager is. Unfortunately my relationship manager wasn't in that day, but then again, I hadn't made an appointment as this was an impromptu visit. Glad I made the slight detour in my drive from Toronto to Erie on this day to drop by this branch!

They closed my account & wont even tell me why & I had this account for 3 years then they taking all year to give me my money out the account I DONT recommend this bank at all & im going to keep giving 1 star until I get my money
