I have been going to the Transit Road, Amherst, NY location since the early 1980's! I have always had exceptional service and honesty! My recent visit was extremely appreciated by the professional and honest service Cory Atkins-Service Manager, and his staff gave me. Their was an issue that the dealer said I should address soon, Cory and his staff looked at the issue, and honestly said that the issue they urgently said I should address, is not an issue??? Cory also gave me some direction, regarding other issues, that we're definitely a problem. I highly recommend, going to this location. You will have a piece of mind, that they have the most honesty and integrity that the customer's is the number one priority! I also want to thank Chris O'Malley - Service Advisor, and the rest of the mechanics, who worked on my car, much appreciated!

Have had lingering issues with a set of tires and Cory was incredibly understanding, helpful and willing to assist in every way possible to handle the problem. Highly suggest working with Cory and the staff at Goodyear Transit in Amherst. 5 ⭐️

I have always been pleased with Bill and his staff at West Seneca. Today I was in need of an urgent situation near my employer and Cory and Chris went above and beyond to help me. I am so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend Goodyear service centers.

If I could give a shop a negative number I would. I just got off the phone with my daughter who took her car to this shop for a state inspection. After they "inspected" the car they told her she needed $2000 of work to pass inspection. This included "an alignment, a new battery and a engine coolant flush, as well as new front pads and rotors, a break fluid flush and a new lower control arm." The there are two things that could fail an inspection, the breaks and the lower control arm. Given that the rotors and pads are less than two years old, I find it hard to believe, they would need replacing, but will now need to take time to inspect them myself and I question the control arm as well. Once she told them she was talking to me about it, they started to walk some of the "requirements" back. I would NOT recommend going here at all unless you are looking to be taken advantage of. I will also be filing a complaint with NYS over this.

As a follow up, the car was taken to a different local shop and they inspected and PASSED the car as is, with no issues at all. None of the items that Goodyear said must be replaced had to be addressed at all.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars - DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU. In case the dozens of other 1 star reviews aren’t enough to convince you - my girlfriend took her 2019 car here for a NYS Inspection and was told it would cost her over $2k to fix and was given a laundry list of repairs that they would have to do to pass the inspection. After she got in touch with her dad who has done a ton of work on the car and questioned some of the repairs that they said were needed, they started backtracking on what was “required” and what was just a “suggestion” - something that was not made clear at the beginning. It went from two pages of repairs to only two required repairs, including new brake pads/rotors (replaced within the last two years) and the lower control arm (also have had no issues or need for repair). The car was taken to another local auto shop where there were no issues found and the car passed inspection. Moral of the story is this place will try to take advantage of you and say you need a bunch of work done and cannot be trusted. We need to stop giving these types of places business and SUPPORTING SMALL/LOCAL BUSINESSES with our auto repair needs.

Absolute scam artists, I mean it - please make sure you read the real reviews on here . Had a very terrible experience at this Goodyear where I was told (after coming in for a NYS inspection) that my total would be over $2000 for a 2019 vehicle. From here, I came into the shop to get an itemized receipt and suddenly not all charges were necessary. I was not only harassed by a condescending staff member who was upset by my frustration, but I was then called on the phone after having left the shop for no reason. When I went to another place for my inspection, it was PASSED- GOODYEAR’s Cory, Chris and the girl at the front Lilly are all horrible- they lied, cheated and stole all to try to get me for 2200$. Would not recommend this Goodyear for anything, including something as simple as an inspection!!! Please please read the real inspection reviews, this is a consistent experience for customers ! CORY is the main scam artist but CHRIS and LILLY also participated and were rude & unhelpful overall!
