Some of the shelves had empty spaces, but this store had the BEST selection of kids clothes I’ve ever seen at a DG. A lot of the new ones don’t carry clothes. The women’s and men’s are in separate isles and they are LOW. I’m a short person and to constantly comb thru clothes that are above my head. Is crazy and annoying. They also had the MOST easter stuff I’ve seen in any store. One of my new favs. :)

Sadly this Dollar General location is no longer reliable. For some reason, this particular location is still often barren shelves, even when other Dollar Generals I go to nearby are back to being decently stocked. There are a few items I prefer to grab at Dollar General, like I prefer their brand drain cleaner, and they have the CeraVe hand cream in the size bottle I like. Pre-pandemic, I'd run in here for those things and some other odds-and-ends often, typically without any issue. Now I've been in at least a half-dozen-plus times grumbling to myself, "Why did I come to this location again when they never have my things anymore!" Yet the nearby Union/Genesee location and the Sweethome/Sheridan store I like in Amherst have remained fairly reliable in inventory for staple items. Yesterday I needed some candy stocking stuffer items, not even holiday candy but some regular common brands carried by the Dollar General, and this store was all out! This store has had irregular hours lately, too. This is not their fault, staffing shortages are to blame, but just an FYI if you stop here after 7PM the doors may already be locked for the night. The convenience of where this Dollar General is located for me will probably keep me coming back in from time to time. Hopefully one day I won't have to grumble so much when I do. :-(
