I purchased a Sea Ray boat from Hutchinson Boat Works in the summer of 2015. Since then Hutchinson’s has provided service, winter storage, pick up and drop off annually. From the time of purchase until today, Hutchinson’s has always provided excellent customer service and high quality workmanship at a fair price. Bought my boat here 3 years ago when boats were in very high demand. I have always felt that they have treated me extremely fair, and have always delivered on time all the services they offer. When I buy another boat I will not hesitate to buy from them again. I will continue to have my boat serviced at Hutchinson as well.

talked to Mark back in September about a boat he gave me I feel a good deal so I ordered the boat. picked it up today after the water test and everything went great Mark was more than willing to take the time to answer any and all questions without rushing he really seems to want you to know how your boat works. with the different staff I talked to over the last few months with questions they all were very helpful and friendly and if they didn't know the answers they would get the answers and call me back. I have nothing negative I can say I had a great experience from beginning to delivery.

I have bought two velocity’s from Hutchinson's boat works. The second one I had purchased I had issues with from the beginning, had it back to them with issues idling and they returned it back to me a week later saying it was fixed which it wasn’t. I ended up paying roughly $15,000 dollars in repairs out of my pocket to have the boat fixed. When Mark called me and told me my boat was fixed I was ecstatic and right away made plans with my family to be in the boat that day. My employee and I went to hutchinsons where we met mark and I payed him his money that I owed him to fix the boat in cash on the spot. Before leaving the mechanic had come out and was telling my employee and myself how he had my boat up to 90 mph and it was running like an animal. I was kind of taken back that my boat was driven the way it was by someone I did t know and with no knowledge of them doing that , but the way I looked at it was hey if he had it at those speeds it must be worthy and safe for my family and I to go boating. Before leaving a coincidentally spun my prop while walking by it and noticed it was completely grenaded( you could easily feel/hear the gear lash in the outdrive . When i went back in and told mark he cane out and agreed with me that there was damage in the drive. Through out the winter while they fixed it I have text messages with mark asking if we needed to go through the outdrive while everything was apart to look and make sure everything was kosher with that, mark replied “ I have already had the guys take a look and everything in the drive is good to go. Dis satisfied after mark called me back saying it needed a $10,000 dollar outdrive and they weren’t going to help me with it, I took it up til he road to aqua mania who then told me that whoever last drive this boat had to have been towed in because the outdrive was completely shot and not in running shape. That brings me back to the mechanic who went out of his way to tell me how my boat was running like a “raped ape” as he stated. How could I be to blame and have to suffer more for this. At this point I had a $35,000.00 boat that I just had given $15,000.00 cash for because Mark told me it was fixed and ready to go. After it all I was turned down on getting my money back, claiming that I wasn’t going to give $15,000.00 towards a boat that was supposively fixed but wasn’t, if I would have driven off the lot they could have claimed it was my own fault which was what they were trying to do. Since then my lawyer has sent two letters with no response. I was so soured that I went across the street to aqua-mania and purchased another boat while having them fix my velocity that should have been Hutchison's responsibility out of my own pocket yet again, now I’m sitting on two boats, two summers laterMy velocity is back together and in the market. Thank god aqua-mania understands situations and we’re so understanding that they fixed my boat and told me when I sell it I can pay them back for it so I didn’t have to give any more money out of myPocket that I would be missing. So not I’m asking $35,000.00 for a boat that I now have $60,000.00 into. Please people don’t let them take it to you like they did me. Also, I had Hutchinsons do some updating to the controls in the boat for a better look, and my wife spent her hard earned money on new livorsi controls witch are thousands of dollars, they still sit in the boat never used. The same mechanic called me asking if I would sell my old throttles for $200.00 and I agreed, haven’t heard from him since, and he made out with my old throttles. Do yourself a favor and drive right on by this place. Boats are expensive and people need to buy from a dealer that stands by what they sell and what they fix. Hopefully when they are subpoena’d to court they will actually not ignore it and show up and face the music. I’m not looking for a response from anyone there I’m just looking to help out others and save them from the agony these people caused me and my family.
