Nice little tackle shop. Lots of fly and drift dig stuff. Caters to tributaries fishing almost exclusively. Very nice top of the line products.

Great place, Ron the owner is a class act and very knowledgeable in all things fishing. He carries everything you could need or want to fish the Oak and all of the surrounding tribs. I take all of my business to him and many times we drive over an hour just to pick things up that no one else carries. He also has cozy accommodations for out of state/town fisherman visiting the area. Cant say enough about the place or the owner. 11-13-21 In many ways the fishing has just begun and I look forward to many great trips to the Oak and Oak Orchard Tackle ✌

We went to New York on a whim, with no place to stay. While purchasing our fishing license we inquired about a room. We would definitely stay there again. With a full size fridge, microwave and coffee pot available, in the common area, we will be prepared next time. Very friendly and close to fishing.

Nothing but high regards for a shop owner and good friend. Most if not all of my rods that are worth mentioning come from Ron and all have been well worth the investment even when not in use during the off seasons. Not sure of the other shop in town (Narby's?) but if you fish the oak, for the sake of tradition and good luck - a stop at Ron's is always worth while. Great fly selection and outside of steelie/salmon season you can always get into some good action nearby at the Dam.

I would give zero stars if possible. Bought a rod from shop that had a hairline crack in tip that could not be seen. I put the line through the guides and saw it then. I never fished with it. Would not take rod back said it was used. Don’t by rods off his rack they are all miss handled by people daily.

Love this place! Has everything I need to fish the Oak. Spin, Fly or Float. Licorice Man has the gear you need from the dam to the piers! And you WILL NOT find a more honest and accurate report anywhere!

Fair selection of tackle and fishing needs. Prices seem a little high, owner could be more interactive and personable with customers. Fine for picking up something you may have forgotten or ran out of but thats about it.
